Its one of the best season ending episodes i have seen on any show.

what was best about it is that they dont have non of that cliff hanger bullshit endings other shows use as gimmicks to make sure you are dying to see the first episode the next year..

While there is much to look forward to next season, its mostly general..The last episode wraps up all the loose ends and pretty much gives you a good glimpse into next season instead of living open ended questions...

SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT SPOILER ALERT

Some chapters are closed.... Bodie got his brains splattered that really pissed me off, i was really hoping he would get some pay off for the hard work he put in...Dude busted him hump all the way from the towers, through the marlo wars and omar robberies, and he gets to eat a friggin bullet as a good bye!!!

Then about that ring that i suspected would come back into the picture..

Why the hell didnt Marlo follow up questioning micheal about the ring?

Is it that micheal is not fully trusted by marlo that he doesnt feel the need to follow up on the ring that Omar stole from him?

Also, when marlo went to Micheal's house Snoop asked micheal a question about the guy the killed and micheal responded by saying it was bug's dad.

I just wanna know exactly what the question was because i almost can never hear what she says if my speakers are not turned all the way up.

Great great show all around....

the greek is back, the Wire is back, and our fav detective is back as well..

(I was kinda dissappointed that we didnt get a better glimpse of the upcoming fall of the mayor.....You all know its coming, he is gonna start sleeping around again and doing dirty deals and such...Its inevitable and you know its coming!!:bunnies: :bunnies: :bunnies:

Not sure I see this happening. Most characters don't carry over from season to season. You did see the Greek tonight so anything is possible.

Best show on TV.

Where did Micheal get the ring? From the pawn shop?

Mike stole the ring from the black police officer that always was busting the chops of the young dudes. I am not sure how (or if) that ring is connected to Marlo, however, as a previous poster suggested.

I thought this season was excellent, but rather slow developing. I thought they spent too much time on the school testing plot and they took too long to find the bodies. And too bad Bodie got dropped.

I think the actor who plays Bubs should get the Emmy for supporting actor; he was fantastic. Also, great to see my favorite singer, Steve Earle, back for the finale.

When does next season start?

I think they went that whole, political angle with the schools and all that social bunk to appease the city of Baltimore. I think there were a bunch of people ticked off that they milked the city of all its nastiness and didnt bother to show even one good side.

Apparently the stories are uniquely baltimore stories and parallel real life baltimore stories.

About the ring, i think Marlo figured that omar most probably pawned it off, and it got passed along like that.

May be he didnt push micheal about it, because he didnt wanna explain to an underling that he got punked and robbed like your typical tax payer.

Any one wonder if Micheal will ever have to pull the trigger on his buddy Randy once the police find that he is the closest thing to a witness they have?

great show last night. I thought it was interesting that Namand is the one that might make it off the corner and Dookie has to go on it cause he doesnt have any other options.

the ring was marlos. omar took it when he robbed the card game. then the cop took it from Omar when they arrested Omar for murder outside of the convenience store. then michael took it from the cop when he threw paint on him.

So is Omar going to retire?

Man... i hope that Micheal does not have to kill Randy. That would be sick...

I don't think Omar will ever retire... He robs people for the "game" of it as it is... He don't care much for the loot.

The ring was originally Prop Joe's, Marlo jacked it off him.

Show was off the charts, happy for Naymond that Corver took him in, Bodie went out wrong, he was a soldier and didn't deserve to be taken out like a nobody, Marlo will pay. Herc was a straight up b*tch this season and he did Randy in for that. Dookie is on the corner's now and Michael has given up his self to the streets, now he's pulling in Dookie as well. Michael is moving up quick in the game and can see him eventually taking Marlo's spot.

I heard Avon is coming back next season and TheGreek should come back in some kind of role as well, seeing from this past episode.

The one thing I love about this show is, after you watch a episode for a second time, you will see so many things in a different light. The writers do a wonderful job for foreshadowing story lines and characters. They give you pictures and angles that many people view in a different ways. For instance at the end of show, they held the picture of the four way stop for a few seconds. We all know four way stops are dangerous places, and you can choose different directions to go. I feel it shows a parallel of the four kids of the show, choosing different paths in life. Some are doing better things, while others are going down the darker roads in life. Its just a small example for if you watch the episode again, you will notice things you didn't see the first time.

The ring was not prop joes. It originally belonged to the guy who run the store that Omar robbed this season.

As payment for that stolen stash, Marlo took it from the guy who was later taken to the vacants when he recanted his story about Omar having shot the postal worker at the store.

Show is indeed deep. And you are right at times it takes a second go around before you catch all the nuances in it.

I say its as good as the first 3 seasons of the sopranos. Top notch show.

cant wait until next year because thats looks like its gonna be a good one.

My bad, I meant old Face Andre had the ring originally and had it jacked by Marlo.
