How many of you do or have chased after a bad run of luck?

Do you sit back and think "well I have now lost 4 in a row, what in the heck are the odds I lose 5, so I'll make a HUGE bet, and be right back even".

Does chasing ever have a happy ending?

P.S. I am asking for a friend, of my brother in law. I myself would never chase. Well prolly not............

I chase in the forms of parlays and teasers that payout equals the amount of my losses.

Just knowing the possibility of drawing even exist makes the adrenaline rush on that night of action.

The odds are losing the fifth game at that point are the same whether you won the last 4 or lost the last 4. It is hard not to chase but not smart at all. If you do make sure it is on at a least a game you like....not the next game. G/L

I know.......(odds are the same). Shit.....

But I REALY do like the Bears, but then again, I would NEVER bet this much if I wasn't chasing.

good advice.

If the Bears cover, I will do that. If they don't........well I'll just lose what money I have left, over the course of the next couple of weeks, and join a travling lawn jarts team. I hear they pay pretty well.....

Everyone has chased at some point and many have been burned ..

its exactly the WRONG thing to do ....good luck I hope you can chase back the losses $$ but if your betting with ANY money you can not afford to lose you should NOT be betting at all

I have already pulled out double from my matchbook account what I put in. I did that 3 weeks ago, after a REAL lucky run.

I was just naive, and assumed the winning would continue. When it didn't, I started to bet bigger, and those bets lost too........and now I am pretty much all in with the Bears.

I am NOT betting $ that will change my life style or debts if I lose.

It's just no fun, to see a "hobby" that was spitting out $ , all the sudden take a dump!

Well i do it but opposite your scenario. I make the same size wagers just about everytime. And when i lose say 8 out of 10 if anything ill tighten up. But let me win 8 out of 10 and ill blow the whole bankroll the next day on some dumb no way it cant cover teaser that wont even come close. Hell thats exactly why im busto now in fact....
