CHICAGO -- At this rate, the Indiana Pacers might appeal the NBA to play a three-on-three halfcourt game when they meet Chicago tonight at the United Center.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><!-- REMAINING TEXT -->Already missing the suspended Stephen Jackson and the injured Jermaine O'Neal, the Pacers also could be without Al Harrington, Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels, who are suffering from food poisoning.
The three missed Monday's shootaround and are questionable for tonight. If they can't go, the Pacers would be without four starters and a key reserve (Daniels).
Harrington and Tinsley stayed at the hotel. Daniels attempted to join the team, but was vomiting on the bus and was returned to the hotel.
That left just 10 bodies available for Monday's walkthrough. The pending starters for tonight are Darrell Armstrong and Sarunas Jasikevicius at guard, Jeff Foster at center and Maceo Baston and Danny Granger at forward.
Coach Rick Carlisle held out hope that Harrington, Tinsley and Daniels will be able to play tonight.
Carlisle said rookie Shawne Williams will be activated tonight, and could very well play.
"I've wanted to do it for a while," Carlisle said. "With Jack out, there's a need for another perimeter player. From a matchup standpoint, (the Bulls) are athletic perimeter team, so it makes sense."
Carlisle confirmed O'Neal will miss his third consecutive game with a sore left hamstring. O'Neal, who has been advised by the team not to play, said he will play in Wednesday's game against Detroit at Conseco Fieldhouse.

I bet 2 of the 3 play.
