Do you bet more when you are having a winning day,week or month...

I am having the best month I have EVER had 12 days into it and am thinking about doubling my normal bet size just for the next few nites. Nothing to drastic. There just isn't enough games in the next few days for the time I am putting into this so I am thinking about turning it up a notch just for a few days. Anyone do this? I will go back to my normal bet size when the oppurtunities expand later in month. Not the best reason in the world but maybe sometimes it is smart to go for the throat.

No, never. My bet sizes only vary based on the strength of the play, tho the vast majority of time I flat-bet. If my bankroll increases significantly, the flat bet amount will increase as a percentage of the bankroll, but that's it.

A quick way to go broke is assuming that past performance is a determinant of future performance. Learned that one the hard way.

Wait until you have your BEST YEAR before taking it up a notch i have seen so many gamblers over the years that started getting cocky and stepping out and increase their bets because of a good month and as Emeril Lagasse would say BAM now some are not to be found! As good of a capper as you are just be patient and good things will happen! Good Luck

exactly my thoughts you want to be just for action icey bet very small if you need your fix...not a huge bet since your on a 12 day roll

Appreciate the thoughts and kind words. I have almost ALWAYS had great discipline at this but really feel like gambling. What I may do is just grab a couple hundred bucks and head to the track. Maybe make a few normal size bets here in the morning and then just look at computer later at nite for results. Just feeling good about myself and wanted to drop a couple bigger (not huge) bets out there but probably would be pissed if they all lost and I dropped some hard earned profit. Maybe I will do the impossibile and take a few days off:realtongu

Never remember it being this slow during mid-December before.

Pump it up 20%, 30% when you're winning.. That's not going crazy, but that's the profitable way...

Absolutely never pump it up, when you're in a funk.

My bet sizes are percentages, so yes I will bet more than I did previously when winning, and less when losing, though it's not due to belief in "hot streaks" etc..

the more im up the heavier i go at them. i find myself betting heavy on games i have no clue about. not smart. take these ridiculous wagers on a ridiculous team the other day for example.

As tempting as it may sound, I would stick to doing what youre doing and what got you there in the first place. You only need a couple of cold days to give it all back once you double your bets.

Bare in mind that its December, and with Xmas around the corner, treat winning this month as a bonus and give yourself a spoil.
