some scum mother fudger backed into yours and didn't hang around to settle up? I wish I had seen the person that did it because I wouldn't think twice of accidently walking in front of them and jumping knee first on their hood.

At least they left some orange paint.

I saw some broad driving a new Toyota Prada backing out of a mall parking space (Paseo las Flores), hit the car behind her, then hit the car in front, then hit the car behind again, then hit the car in front *again*, before finally pulling out.

(and no, it wasn't parallel parking)

So be glad you don't live here.

Maybe it's the good samaritan in me, but if I saw someone back into a car, much less heard them, I'd stop them and make them wait or at least leave some ID and a phone number.

Yep...my most recent car...somebody back into it and it left scratched and small dings in the plastic portion of the bumper...forward 18 months...last Friday I take the car into the dealer for the routine oil change and guess what...the dumb ass maintenance guy backs the same portion of the bumper into the building causing more damage...dealer calls and tells what happened and says they are very sorry and will fix it on them...of course...moral to the story...KARMA...

I freakin hate car alarms, but one thing they can do is make a racket if anyone hits your car. By callling attention to the situation, the culprit is more likely to be seen or caught by someone. Of course you then have to hope that someone will leave a note on your car about what they saw.

I saw a hit and run a few years ago and me and my buddy followed them and called 911 and told them where they were. Was a drunk fvck and when the cops got to him he was in a empty parking lot taking a piss by the pay phone. He was trying to lose us and ran over a median and busted out two of his tires and was running on the flats until it was only rims. He had it coming to his sorry azz.

I did it to someone in a parking lot and tried to take off but some woman started screaming at me so I told her i didnt realize i hit the car :)

So when I went back to leave my number I left the right one and all but left it in a very vulnerable blow away state.

Just got a new car the other day. First 15 minutes I am driving, I am completely stopped on the freeway. the car behind me got blasted by a drunk driver and they in turn hit me. The Driver then took off. Luckily someone had been following them for a half hour and called the cops twice..... My car is not too bad, will definately need a little work though, the one that hit me was completely messed up. Waiting on the police report to let me know if they got this guy..... needless to say this pissed me off.

Thank god for insurance.

Do you really think this way? Insurance is a scam that is a form of organized crime endorsed by state governments.

You know how much value you lose in your car once it is wrecked.

Insurance or not you lose in the long run.

Maybe she was european. In case you don't know they practice bumper to bumper parking there and often push their way in/out of a parking spot.

I had a situation when I was still in college where I accidently hit/scratch the car next to mine when I was backing out. It wasn't anything big but some paint did come off from his car. My friend at the time told me to just hit the gas and get the hell out of there. But since this was my first year in college and our school was big on expelling kids for cheating or any wrongdoing. I decided to leave an apology note with my info. The dude called me the next day and charged me up for $500!!! To this day, my friend call me a dummy for not pulling a hit n run. :smoking:
