No less than 5 totally different people in the past month or so, who don't even know it each other claim that states like Montana and Wyoming is where everyone is moving.

I am not looking to move but just wondering if this true and if others have heard it? I imagine it has to do with the fact those towns have alot of land and new oppurtunities.

My sister moved to Montana 5 years ago.........they built a home right next to that of CHIP REESE(who has since sold his house).

Beautiful country and very little crime.

Montana started their run about 5 years ago. I think the prices have jumped so much during that span there is not much value there anymore.

Ride, Rope, Work Cattle, and much, much, more...
TMCWinterDeck.jpg
Thank you so much for your interest in Montana Cowboy School...We're nestled in the beautiful Tobacco Valley of Northwest Montana. At Montana Cowboy School, you'll be training just to the East of Lake Koocanusa (pictured above), due West of Glacier National Park, and just 220 miles south of Banff/Lake Louise.
In the hustle and bustle of today’s fast paced world, you need to take time for yourself and step back to learn some of the skills that are still required of today’s real-life cowboys. The skills learned at Montana Cowboy School are still required by strong cowboys on horseback that truly know how to ride, rope, and work cattle. This isn’t a school for those who aren’t willing to work hard and learn. We’ll have experienced instructors who will put forth a tremendous effort to ensure that you have a chance to learn the very fundamental cowboy skills that can only be taught through hands-on experience; they’ll expect no less than a tremendous effort and work ethic from you throughout the course.
No Experience Required

Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience - what we’re looking for is a strong desire to learn. In fact, Montana Cowboy School is specifically geared towards someone who has always wanted to experience and learn the "cowboy way" but hasn’t had any real-life cowboy experience.
At Montana Cowboy School you’ll have a chance to experience and learn the real-life range skills every cowboy must possess. In order to achieve a certain level of success, our experienced instructors will work together with you and your assigned horse....After our five-day course, you’ll know that you’ve been part of a real cowboy school and will have a tremendous sense of accomplishment that others who haven’t attended can only read and dream about.
At the end of your course, you'll participate in a timed event competition to see who will earn the "Montana Cowboy School" CHAMPION belt buckle!
Experienced Instructors and Mouth-Watering Meals
At Montana Cowboy School you’ll find experienced instructors along with mouth-watering meals. In addition, there’s nothing like the experience of "Big Sky" country. It’s something that’s impossible to describe - You have to experience Montana to have a true appreciation of Big Sky country!
Sign Up Now!
If you’re ready to become a real-life "Montana Cowboy" and you think you’ve got what it takes, then reserve your class right now through our "secure" online reservation area.
Class size will be limited to a maximum of 12 students with two experienced instructors and classes will fill up quickly....Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime experience - sign up today!
Note: If you have additional questions, please drop us an e-mail with a phone contact and best time to reach you....We can be difficult to get in touch with during the day as we’re usually out attending to cattle, other ranch duties, or participating in local rodeos.

The five day course can be an "add-on" course while staying at The Montana Cabin.
In addition, we'll be working with several other overnight providers in the area; just in case we're already full. You will also have the option of an RV Camp across from the arena or staying right on the arena grounds if you have your own camper, etc.
NOTE: If you're staying at The Montana Cabin, this will allow you to bring another person along who can enjoy the cabins and the area while you attend the Cowboy class of your dreams. Or get several people together for "Montana Cowboy School" and enjoy the hot tub after a long day in class.
For the entire five day Montana Cowboy School course, your horse and tack during the course, experienced instructors and three "hearty" meals each day of class:

Introductory Rate

$995.00 per person
Be sure and reserve your spot in Montana Cowboy School early as this introductory rate provides a 20% discount off our normal rate and won't last long!
The above price does not include a customary 15% gratuity for our wranglers, instructors, cooks, and staff which will be added to your final cost after the completion of your course.
That means that four people could attend the five day class and stay at The Montana Cabin for the week and the per person price is less than $1,400 per person for Montana Cowboy School (experienced instruction, horse, tack, facilities, five days of meals during class, etc.) and your Montana log cabin vacation cabin with hot tub and gazebo.
To reserve/hold a "class date" a nonrefundable deposit of $300 will be required.
Final payment will be required 60 days prior to your scheduled class week. In the event you wish to cancel, we will do everything we can to replace your spot in class...If we are able to fill your spot, your original deposit (less a $100 handling fee) will be returned to you.

Ice funny you bring this up. Go to the Detroit News web page and search for an article about Wyoming jobs. Many many people are leaving our great state to start over there. The housing is booming and with all the natural gas and coal out there it's a good time to go.
