Prime Rib at Jerry's Nugget in north las vegas. That's right! NORTH LV

Take a cab to side entrance or valet park for safety. LOL

No joking, their 'thick' cut prime rib dinner is under $20. Maybe the best in vegas. I ate there in Nov.

Make the drive to Red Rock Canyon and the Keystone Thrust. These are the hills you see on the west of Las Vegas. Beautiful scenery and easy to get to.

you can always drive around the neighborhoods and look at the christmas lights...i live here and that's what we did sunday evening with our two dogs...they seemed to enjoy it...so, we'll probably do it again before christmas....:puppy: if all you want to do is gamble, drink, and look at women...stay on the strip...where else is there but las vegas...have a great time and go home a winner:money8: not a :Sad Face:

There is a good swinger club over by Lotus of Siam (east Sahara). Pick up some chicks and bring them there, they will dig it.

ECS,

It's a little hard to answer your question without having an idea of your budget.... I was there Thurs and Friday last week, stayed at the Wynn, had my rep at the Mirage get me a table at Jet, spent about $1500 there on Friday nite ( at $475 a bottle for Crown Royal it adds up ) and then ate lunch at the Palms before we left Sat nite. The golf course at the Wynn is awesome and I saw three groups at the most on it both Friday and Sat at the same time. Poker is great at Bellagio or the Mirage, and a lot of people here like the Mandalay Bay sports book to watch games at on Sunday. I believe there is a lot of poker action right now in around town with some tournaments going on. I hope this helps a little. BTW.. the new show LOVE at the Mirage is supposed to be great from what I hear.... it was black last weekend. Another option is 'O' at Bellagio. Great show but a little pricey for some people's taste. :toast:

Forget the freakshow close by, just go to Lotus Of Siam instead..order off the menu..the Northern Cuisine..not the buffet.

ok, let me help with the budget, I am a poor teacher/coach, hence any good inexpensive things are best for me and my pitiful budget.

If you've never seen it before, the Hoover dam is MINDBLOWING! Certainly worth the short trip once IMO.
