that's harsh red007. I like Lindsey. She has a lot to be proud of. NOT blessed with great court quickness, she has accomplished a lot in her career. A lady who suffered from severe shyness, she let her demons loose on the court. The tennis court was her sanctuary.

red007, that WImbledon loss to Venus will eat at her for a long time, I reckon. A TERRIBLE loss. She handled it with class tho. Measure a person on how he/she loses, not how he/she wins.......for me at least.

gl Lindsey!!!!!!!!:103631605

now that fedex has figured out nadal
look for roger to go undefeated.
if he is smart about his schedule...i.e. not going to cincy
after winning in canada,
he might pull it off:toast:

his schedule is out, at his website. He is playing Canada and Cinci again, go figure. Of course, he can pull out, none of this is in stone, but i assume its farily definitive (if not why post it at your website). I agree, not good to play those two straight weeks--TOO MUCH quality/demanding tennis in a short span. If he loses Canada, take him to win Cinci, wins Canada, likely to 'lose tourney' at Cinci.........historyt has a tendency to repeat itself,no?

19 yr old Novak Djokovic is making some noise. VERY bold of the yougn man, i like it--he has come out publicly stating that he intends to pierce the top 10 this year and compete with Roger to win GS titles (if not this yr than in years to come). Some may laugh at that, but hey--a) the kid has game (can play on any surface!-- 4th rd at Wimbledon) and b) you HAVE to believe you can win Vs Roger. Or else, your James Blake Vs Federer, a deer in the headlights, if you will.

a lot of young ladies that can make some noise next yr, moreso than on the mens side.

Andy Murray, who handles big servers with 'ease' will have had the egomaniac B Gilbert for a full off-season. Hmm, very interested to see how he comes out of the gates.

T Dent and N Kiefer make their returns at The Hopman Cup.......:thumbsup2:
