Horrible ugly games. People are not missing out if they don't have the NFL Network.

Yep...they have a very weak product. That's why they have to try to dress it up with all the hype and sizzle and rock music, because it's just not very good entertainment. If I didn't gamble for a living, the last thing in the entire world I'd be doing would be watching a shit sports event (NBA...lol...please...). It is SO meaningless as to who wins or loses.

The entire NFL product is crappy. When a game is by itself it only gets magnified. The only reason Sunday is OK, is because you can switch to the one or two exciting games and not realize about 8 of 10 are complete crap.
That combined with endless momentum killers in the form of TV timeouts, replay challenges, etc. makes it horseshit to view. When I watch the games, I will pause them on the TiVo for about 20 minutes, do something else, go back and catch up on all the action in about 3 minutes, then repeat.

You are wise, Green Doberman. Im finding the NFL harder and harder to watch, and the only thing making it more tolerable are the two 'B's', betting and beer.

Real sports on the pro level died at least a decade ago, today there are no true rivalries just current talent assemblages of free agents that are constantly moving around.

College and High School ball are so much more attractive to me today than when I was young, of which then Pro anything was the best.

Today's rivalries are full of fake hired-gun poseurs..haven't been with the teams long enough to fully hate each other with the menaing that past eras did.

Cowboy-Skins..Raiders-Broncos..Steelers-Browns..Lakers-Celtics..Dolphins-Jets..

NY Rangers-NY Isles..Flyers-Bruins..Habs-Leafs..etc..all DOA!

Sorry Ass overrated Yanks-Red Sox rivalry shoved down America's throat by ESPN..makes one wish that Oriole ownership could get it in gear and piss on their parade.

Much like the former glory of the sports gambling industry..in terms of pro sports as a viable and enjoyable partaking..the party is over..it's a laborsome and uninteresting task to watch it for capping purposes.

I went to two NFL games last year for the first time in 10 years, and had forgot how long the tv timeouts were, and all the crappy dance routines and replay stoppages were..makes the game nothing but an glorified scrimmage with lil' or no flow..brutal product.

Heartless boring shit by-and-large..pre-game and post-game coverages have more interest than the actual meal served in-between.

I love how ESPN try and tag the Yanks v Red Sox as the greatest rivalry in sport. They obviously dont watch too much European or South American soccer. When was the last time a spectator got stabbed at a Yanks/Sox game for wearing the wrong hat or team colours?

Bah humbug ESPN and their overdramatic ways and cliches. Boo Yah!

World Cup Soccer and betting Large on the Unders in the German, Italian, French, and English matches, was easily by far the most interesting sports watching of the Pro level for me this past year.

Otherwise, it was College Hoops and Foots.

I do enjoy the NHL Playoffs, but much like other pro sports is in decline, despite all the different League's Commish and TV Network Exec's spin-jobs on waning ratings.

I have to find OLN on the dial to catch an Stanley Cup Finals Game..WTF?

I feel the exact same way!

The game itself live really sucks and the movement of the players gives it a false competition. These guys are all rich and friends these days. The need to win every game doesn't exsist at all!

Believe it or not, I have seen Yankees fans get attacked in away parks and it's rather common....not stabbed but fights all the time, bad fights...I saw a guy throw a glass bottle in the middle of a busy city street right at a group of New York fans after a game in Baltimore....I guess the idiot who threw the bottle felt he was safe in his home city, the Yankee fans got out in the middle of the street and beat the hell out of the guy.
