They would have been in if they didn't lay an egg at North Dakota State the 2nd to last weekend of the season where they were throttled 51-14.

The fact that North Dakota State did not get in shows that a playoff system does not solve everything. There is no way anyone can justify that team not being included in the playoffs.

Solid, solid season by the bison. They would consistently come back, game after game, from a deficit to win the game, even though they weren't necessarily playing for anything after the season was over.

San Diego is still a top 3 team & are the biggest snub of the entire year.

Only loss to Minnesota by 1.

Beat 1A Ball State.

Beat UC Davis at their place.

Humiliated Cal Poly.

I cannot even comprehend how they weren't the #1 seed in the playoffs...let alone not even invited.

Cal Poly and North Dakota State both beat Davis so enough of the San Diego infatuation. They didn't play anyone all season.

If they played ND States schedule they would have at least 4 losses...same with Poly's schedule.

Clip I don't believe NDSU is eligible for the playoffs for a couple of years

That would explain it. They are the best 1-AA team in the country in my opinion.

I coached at Cal Poly for 3 years but haven't followed the new conference much.

Thats correct. They moved up from D II to 1 AA. They are going to the Big Sky Conference. They are ineligible for post season play for 1 more year, I believe.

*Montana State Bobcats coach is real close to taking the job at Idaho.

*Montana Grizzley coach had an interview for the Stanford job.

I think Montana would be smart to go after the Carroll College coach (NAIA school in Montana) - Van Diest. I think he will be the next head coach at Montana. Great man and a great coach.

Rumor has it that coach Kramer from MSU is going to Idaho. Thats is where he is from. If he goes, the Bobcats top replacement will be Van Diest. I don't know anything about him but his teams are strong every year.

The Grizz and Carroll get all the top Montana players. The Cats get all the Junior College transfers from California.

Right now in Bozeman, there are past and present players that sold drugs to undercover cops. Two former basketball players are on trial for murder. They killed a guy over a drug deal.
