I placed a ML wager on Nashville. They won but play not graded quite a while by Pinnacle. I checked the ticket and it say Regulation Time. Nashville won in a Shoot Out. Not calling the computer a liar so may have place the wager on the Reg screen but what difference does it make? No way to win a ML wager in Regulation.

If you bet the ML for regulation time and you got the wagered cancelled then you should buy lottery tickets. Your bet was a loser, and they gave you your money back. You have nothing to complain about, in fact, you should be over the moon with that result.

I see that they have two Money Lines...on in the regulation sheet and one in the Including OT sheet. What the fuck does it matter! If it a ML play you either win or lose don't you?

I appreciate the fact that they are not keeping my money but what difference does Reg/OT matter when you play on the ML? I am not bitching...happy to see the cash back in the account.

It is a push and was graded correctly.
Similar to a 90 minute soccer line.
It is a two-way line for 60 minutes of ice time, the score was tied and therefore it pushed.

I did not lose but they did cancel the wager....in other words it was a push. I did not intend on playing on the money line in regulation only but must have gotten careless. Nashville got down 2-0 and won the thing in a shoot out. I was lucky not to lose the bet altogether. Little pissed I did not get the win but it could have been a lot worse.

Be careful when placing the bets, they have separate categories for regulation and outright. Consider it a cheap lesson learned.

My apologies, I was thinking more along the lines of a soccer wager where some books will grade a ML bet as a loss if its a tie/draw because your stipulated result was incorrect.

I understand what youre saying now and it does suck when you have the correct result but dont get the win on a technicality or stupid mistake.

It's all good. Just happy to see the money back in the account. I can't believe I didn't lose the game.

They offer different lines for Regulation and OT. If your team wins in regulation and that is how you played it I assume you get a better payoff.

Glad it worked out for you. It would have been a real gut punch to have Nashville OT and lose it in the SO after they get the tie in regulation.

I always make sure to click the OT one but the 1/2 instead of 1.5's should tell you too.

You would think that, but its not always the case. If you take tomorows NASH/St. L rematch for example, Nash are -250 to win the game in regulation, but are -224 to win the game OT included. Yet Rangers are -140 to win their match in regulation, yet -145 to win it with OT incl. Doesnt make much sense, as you would think that you should get the better ML price always when youre forgoing the OT and shootout option.

I was not having any fun believe me..Nashville was down 2-0 early and I had to sweat the whole game and then when they tied it up something made me go check the ticket and I saw the Reg Time. This was a two dime Hockey GOY LEAD PIPE STONE COLD LOCK :realtongu

I was on NASH also. How the hell they had to go to a shootout to beat a team who had lost their last 9 is beyond me, especially after the way they spanked OTT the other night. I thought the match was an absolute lock. I will be leaving the game alone tomorrow, so watch the Preds win 5-0. You have all been warned, im off them, so get on.

I am still trying to sort that out. For the record my ML was -400 (don't every play one of these without adult supervision) and now that I am thinking about it I saw a ML for the same game at -365 just before the game stated. That must have been the OT included ML. :icon_conf
