if not it is the biggest rush youll ever have. im a former paratrooper but wanted to feel the insane rush of falling for 60 seconds. got a few people from work to do it last year and they loved it! ill be skydiving at the bash this year so hopefully i see some fellow rxers go. they pick u up and drop you back off at the strip. cost is around $200 for tandem. you can also get videotaped for additional 60-100 but well worth it. man up. lets do this!

Have always wanted to do this. Count me in. If I'm sober, you may have to push me out of the aircraft or maybe we can hold hands and jump on the count of three. I hope I don't have a heart attack. Would taking a hanful of xanax for chill factor be out of the question beforehand?

believe me man nothing is quicker to fix a hangover than sitting out on the edge of the door looking out into the sky and jumping out. nothing wrong with a few beers though before the jump. me and some co-workers assembled about an hour before at the jump site and chugged a few. remember its tandem so you will be rigged to an experienced jumper. all you do is go for the ride and what a ride it is!

what do you mean by tandem and rigged to a seasoned veteran jumper?

so im going to be all tied up and all over someone else like a back pack then?

i wont be able to do spins, swoop through the air and glide as i will be tied up to some guys back ?

if thats the case, i want to jump with a red head broad.

man, if you are rigged to someones back, what if the cords get tangled up and when the parachute is supposed to be unleashed it gets tangled up and doesnt work?

i dont know about this now anymore. i thought you get a back pack that is straped on to your back, you jump and then pull a cord or press a button soon after to unleash the parachute.

the pro jumper can jump along side you, no need to be getting so close upon first meeting, close enough to be strapped on to ones back anyway. what is wrong with just holding hands and jumping? that way if you need any help they can just swoop over and help you out.

ive seen this on tv. they can glide over to you like an eagle and help you out if need be. no need to be all up on someones back and all, especially when you just met them.

i dont want to be rigged up on to the back of another jumper. do you think they will be ok with that ??? how can one even spread out and enjoy the jump being mummified to another jumper ???

youll have a harness on and he hooks from behind you. the chute is on his back. and yes you can still flip, spin etc. he will be sure of that. i honestly dont know if we can jump solo in vegas but in jersey you have to have a certain amount of jumps and classes before they let you do that. but ill call them tomorrow and update to see if solo can be done. also there might be additional classes we might have to take which takes up time. you have to insure you know your rate of fall, windspeed, direction, landing properly, etc.. theres alot involved then just jumping out of an airplane for beginners. people on tv are seasoned vets who have logged probably thousands of jumps. believe me tandem isnt as bad as you think it is but it will be better if theres woman instructors. i was just looking for a quick rx jump over vegas then get back on the strip to bet and drink.

that shit happens luc. a week after i did it someone crashed and burned and hit a basketball rim. that was ugly. the thing i found amazing was when were filling out our paperwork it said a death occured once every 20,000 jumps. which i found out to be quite a high number statistically.
