Happy Holidays to all the charatcers that make this place what it is today...Is there any chance we could be less self serving and more supportive of out other fellow posters in 2007?
This place is never a dull moment, well sometimes between 1-4 pm but not for long...always something coming up to create some drama or news to banter about.
Keep up the great work Rx poster body , we must have twice as many great new posters that have become regulars in the past year or so.
May you all hit 55% in 2007
While there are 100's of posters I have become friends with, and some of the older guys I have known for 5 years now, I would like to mention these ten in particular for 2006
My top ten Rx characters of 2006
Kojak- the guy takes a licking and keeps on ticking...his writeups in the sports forums are always worth a look and his Cardinals won it all , he called it and I have to give him props , great yr Kojak.
Gynecologist-the guy seems to never sleep and always ready to cap his next game...he too has great writeups and is a great character, probably the best newcomer , even though he is far from new at this point.
Iceman- he's come quite a long way from his early posts, I'm not sure if anyone has appeared to have grown up more as a gambler than he has over the last year...the call on San Francisco Thursday night was priceless!
Boxslayer- very talented, sharp and witty writer and capper...he can joke and bust on people with the best of them but underneath all of that he's a very logical capper .
Teazerman- another guy who seems to pay very close attention to the Rx poster body with a good level head...he's always polite but will call out BS when appropriate, also very witty.
Choptalk- one of the most controversial posters because of his outlandish predictions, brash (some would say arrogant) he makes no bones about where he stands- just don't pay too close attention to his home team predictions and you should be okay...I expect Chop to have a better baseball season in 2007
Quantumleap-aside from admitting to paying for hookers I like him a lot...you can tell QL thinks outside the box with some of his takes on capping, I would imagine he has this massive database he looks at each night.
Dubpoet- the 10 team parlay guy, the hits from the bong, the HT wagers, action jackson, Dub has lots of guys following what he says in the NBA for that alone he makes my 2006 list.
Dmmd98- guy knows more about wrestling than anyone not named McMahon, for that he makes my 2006 list...I like what he has to say most of the time.
