Assuming Oak and Detroit both lose out, who gets the first pick in the 07 draft?

Detroit due to having played an easier schedule.

sheesh...how many f***** 1st round draft picks does this organization need? I mean, hell, give them to someone else that can do something with it...or...at least get rid of millen or something...that org. just has no clue.

1st round draft picks:

2005- Mike Williams
2004- Roy Williams & Kevin Jones
2003 - Charles Rogers
2002 - Joey Harrington
2001 - Jeff Backus
2000 - McDougle
1999 - Claiborne & Aaron Gibson
1998 - Terry Fair
1997 - Westbrook

"With the 1st pick in the 2007 draft, the Detroit Lions select Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech."

But more importantly, will DET draft another Wide Receiver with their first pick??

the worst part is they actually probably need a WR but it won't happen.

Theyve shot themselves in the foot repeatedly with their continued choice of WR's. They couldnt possiby dare pick another even if they desperately needed one. But, Matt Millen is known for thinking outside the box.

whoever Detroit drafts first they are going to screw it up and screw up that person's chances for having a successful career

I think the best thing they can do is trade down and stockpile picks. They need a lot more then 1 good player.

"Millen Thinks Outside The Box"

Now that is a true example of an oxymoron. Putting Millen & think in the same sentence is laughable. This guy IS a moron! Raiders will take Quinn. Johnson is a no brainer for 1st WR picked. Joe Thomas in top 3?

They should trade down to stockpile picks so they can grab 2 more WRs, a QB and a punter. :puppy:

Calvin is a great receiver and a great guy. What did he ever do to any of you people!? He just went through a career having to catch balls from that lousy Reggie Ball so don't condemn him to playing for the Lions!

Yep, Calvin deserves a far better fate than that. Maybe he can slide to Tampa or Houston.
