Who here would make a great "Sports Fund" manager

1. trustworthy: i know there are some here.

2. avaliable to line shop... has several outs.

3. has the time to do it...

would be only responsible for placing the wagers and not making the selections..........

could be an investor or merly paid a small % of the profits generated by the FUND..

anyone here fit this criteria? and is the offshore world still safe enough for this type of endeavor....... would be a long term project......

i dont know how much money your talking about

but if i had a pool of 1 mio or larger I wouldnt deposit with a sportsbook the cash

I would deposit in a bank and get a bank guarantee and deposit that with the book and at end of every week/2 weeks/ month I would settle the outstanding balance, by them banking to my account or them drawing from guarantee. you could set same thing up with 4-5 books to you could shop around and even an exchange or 2.

obviously only the larger places would accomodate it. its very common in what I do to do this.

(obviously I would start a company most likely in the UK and use a UK bank account would not denominate in USD for wiring to books)

RIGHT HERE SIR, I know the in's and outs....USED TO BOOK GUYS BETTING 15 DIMES A GAME, AND THEN DUMPING WHATEVER THE BOSS WANTED IN 2 MINUTES, USING 3 OTHER BOOKS. CAUGHT A 15 DIME MIDDLE, FOR MY BOSS.

Never rattted guys that did not pay, "boss wanted to go to their house", I would not give them up...I ultimately paid their tabs to satisfy the boss. Of course I later collected.

I have thought of this many times.

In fact, Mark Cuban has said that he has thought about funding this many times.

At the risk of sounding arrogant, I would put my resume up against anyone (tax forms showing income, verifiable success from sportsbooks, references etc) showing that I could make a fortune doing this.

im not talking about needing a bookie....... im talking about someone to handle my money, or my investors money....... mainly for line shopping benefits........ coming from 100% system plays....... i would merely send the plays in the AM and the manager would then go to work..

someone to handle money offshore...... of course for me the trust issue would be huge..... there are a few guys here, that i think could handle it but i havent heard from them......

I am an offshore funds manager now. I specialize in managing Neteller accounts and watching them grow. I use all personal funds and pay out on a percentage of win.

If you already have your mind set on who you want to do it and who you know you trust, why not just contact those guys instead of posting it here and making a big deal out of it. You are going to get 100 people who will tell you they could handle this and 99 of them you arent going to know or trust. Not sure why you would waste everyones time with a thread.

Would be a perfect candidate for you I would think. I would be willing to discuss it in greater depth on the specifics if you so desired to see if it was a mutual fit. Would have to get an estimate on the amount of jack we would be talking and so forth. I have tons of down time during the day as I usually only work the last hour or two before game times. Make a lot during that time, but would be willing to do more during the day, plus following line moves and line shopping with a purpose could only help me in my own endeavors at the same time.

Exactly. What would be the point if someone could make the money all for themselves. It's not like the stock market where you can invest billions and still be a tiny drop in the bucket. You can really only get so much down before having seriously diminishing returns.
