I always find it funny too talk to people from other parts of the U.S. and realize even though we are all Americans we are alot different.

I will get it started. I am from Michigan and a few things kind of weird about us "Michiganders" is we hunt DEER, religioulsy. I am not a deer hunter but almost everyones dad when I was a kid growing up went deer hunting (gun and bow) and it still remains a BIG thing here in the fall.

Another Michigan thing is alot of Michiganders go UP NORTH to vacation. While most will go south to a warmer climate, we go to cabins up north. As a kid alot of my buddies had up north cabins.

I always thought this was funny. I cannot imagine a football game starting before noon but every west coaster I know thinks MORNIG football is normal. Can't imagine a football game after a nite of drinking back in the day.

Great thread Ice. I also being a Michigan man bow hunt for deer. I also have a cabin in the woods up north. (We built it ourselves). I would have to say that a strange thing is I drive south to get to Canada. We also have the wonderful lakes here. Great for any kind of fun you want.

California. Lots of Mexicans here. Feel like in 20 years this state will be 90% Latino.

Nice weather here of course.

A lot of people that visit L.A trip out on how many restaurants we have here.

It's not uncommon to see a celebrity here.

No NFL football team. (Tons of Raiders fan here though)

Lots of Freeways.

I am from Georgia (savannah) and PAULA DEEN makes me sick to my stomach, She makes herself look so fucking stupid on TV. I can't believe people come from all over the world to eat at her stupid reasturant. It is way way way over priced and not that good IMO. She is so phoney with that dumbass accent, and laughing all the time at stuff that is not even funny.

Ireland is located three thousand miles east of Boston, Massachussettes. We are not part of England, the U.K or Australia. Population approximatly 4 million. Gambling is not illegal, in fact there are retail bookie stores on every corner. A top rated Sunday EPL game will generate about $10m euros in action, all of which is happily taxed by our Government. We are as a nation mostly white, Catholic and middle class. We talk a little funny, drink too much and love beating the crap out of each other but other than that we are all good.

The northern part of VA is completely unlike the rest of the it. They really should be two sepearate states, because they are so different.

It makes me laugh when people ask me why I don't have an accent when I tell them I'm from VA. I'm from northern VA, where there is no accent...but the rest of VA has a distinct southern accent.

It's crazy to me that people think of VA as "the south," because where I'm from, it is not like that at all. The rest of VA definitely is, though.

Interesting shit.

Explore Minnesota Golf...

Minnesota has more golfers per capita than any other state, and is the only state to have hosted all thirteen USGA Championships. The natural beauty and diversity of terrain in Minnesota has provided perfect land for many of the top designers to build spectacular golf courses in all parts of the state.

Some courses still open here in Minnesota as of today with no snow on the ground.
