Best rookie QB in NFL will start this weekend

I've been saying it for months, Tarvaris Jackson of Minnesota is the most talented rookie QB in the NFL. It is being reported he is finally getting a start this weekend.

Vince Young has obviously had the best start to his NFL career. But don't be surprised if this kid ends up being the best QB out of last years draft.

He is 17-for-27 for 212 yards with a TD and pick this season.

Very exciting player out of Alabama State.

Jackson was very impressive in preseason, never heard of him before then. Clip you making a wager on the Vikes? I haven't made up my mind yet.

Jackson looks athletic and with a good arm...but he is not close to being ready yet.

I doubt it. The regular season is much different than the pre season as was evident in Cutler's first few starts. I am just excited to see him play in the regular season. I hope he does enough to earn the job for next season.

With the qb's they've got it would be hard for him not to win the job for next year.

He's as ready as any of the rookie's that are starting.

He had a great pre season and came in for the 2nd half last game going 14-for-23 for 177 yards with a TD and INT. Rookies are rarely ready to start at QB in the NFL but everything he has done to this point has shown he is as ready as any of the others.

Now if he can just get a bunch of defensive TDs and 60+ yard field goals like Young, maybe he'll have the same early success.

been calling for him for 3 weeks.....believe the vikes would've won a couple games with him in....thought for sure i would see him to start the 2nd half this past week but no luck...then he came in the game at end of 3rd and drove the vikes down the field 3 out of 4 drives.
I've also said he may be the best QB in this class of Qbs. Cannon for an arm, good vision, good instincts, good work ethic, can scramble when needed. Started his college career at Arkansas.

As a Vikings fan, very excited to see him in the next 2 games and then a full season next year...expect the vikes who have plenty of cap space to sign him a real nice WR and maybe pick up another through draft or free agency.

this kid looked like the real deal from what i saw earlier this year. hoping he balls out, seemed very poised when he got his action. obviously there's a learning curve, may take him a bit to get up to game speed, but has all the tools, think he'll be successful.

i was at the viking game this past weekend. he looked good, people wanting him in and johnson out for awhile, he's not the best rookie QB starting. With time i have faith in him.

Might as well give the kid a shot.
Personally, think he gets murdered this week. But don't lose faith, throw him out for a few starts and see how resilient he is. :103631605
