yeah and in his speech at the College Football Awards Ceremony after winning an award he thanked everyone but his dad....his dad who walks him around everywhere he goes, etc. :ohno:

his dad looked disappointed, and then chris fowler was like "and certainly youre father who dedicates his life to helping you"

His dad is an incredibe man...I did get a sense the kid wasn't showing respect though...I'm sure it's just his age.

it definitely was a mistake...but geez

the guy was like "and finally, last but not least, the most important thank you of all....."

and then his dad started smiling and feeling proud like this was a dream of his...

".....the producers of this great show on ESPN for making this possible."

i was like ...damn, holler at pops one time the dude only sacrifices every waking moment of his life to helping you

i just dont see how he forgot him....the poor guy was blind and all of that, but he didnt seem to have any ill mental effects and he was very well mannered and well-spoken..i was shocked

anyway...yeah, i agree, its a great story

I see your point.

I almost feel bad but damn I am tired of those stories on the ALL SPORTS NETWORK. I dont care if they let this guy get rolled around at halftime...I dont care if some kid hits 3 3 pointers in garbage time of a game, I don't care is some kid gets to meet Teddy Bruschi..
:nopityA: :nopityA:

Lifetime or the Oxygen channel fine, but not on ESPN. Save it for the ESPN 8--THE OCHO..

OK..I'll take my curmudgeon ass to bed now !
