would have been nice to get an organized pool going for all bowls games starting today and ending with fla/osu for a couple hundred per poster, but too late now and a dime wouldnt work as nobody would join.

yep saw those and entered the betjam one. would have been cool to have a post up one for forum members as well for a chance to win more than 500 or 750 though. say 20 guys at 200 a piece for a chance to win 4 dimes. for the diseased players such as myself. those contests are cool though too, thanks for putting them together.:suomi:

I think we could still get something done. Just skip tonights game if it's cutting it too close. And 200 a man sounds fine. 1 grand is a bit steep for me.

Newport,
I can talk to Skybook Dude and see if they will allow us to do it. I think many could not afford the dime but if we did it at say 2or 3 bills we may get a better turnout. We could start with say Xmas eve game with Hawaii and AZ St. Thoughts?

I posted numerous times about a post up bowl contest. Last year, the contest was very popular and entertaining.

As long as everyone can bring those orangey-brownish $500 bills, a thousand per person should be doable. Good luck in your venture.

there is still time to do a POST UP contest which may include all the games Jan 1 and later.....

perhaps we could ask people to select the side and total for each of the games between Jan 1 and January 8, there are 11 games during that time, so it would be a total of 22 selections.

does this sound interesting to some?

I think if we start with the bowl games of december 24, that it will not give people enough time to get moullah together.

I wasn't taking a shot at you or Rx. I was just saying it seems interest has been lacking lately. I think this just could be due to Christmas approaching. The Jman post up CBB contest had lots of interest but not many followed through with it.

SS-Thanks for putting together the fun contests. If you do put something together, I am in.

i know you werent, dont worry....

the POST UPS are always harder to draw than the free ones, I was suprised at how long it took to fill up the BetMania one, because it was basically free (the 100$ was yours to play with).

the thing is, they are still fun if only a few enter..... makes no difference as it is that much easier to win......

SportSavant, I never got chance until now to mention thanks to all the work you do coordinating all those contests that seem to pop up on a weekly basis (if not every few days!).

I find myself wanting to join many of those but end up not doing so for one key reason: knowing that I don't have accounts at many books and I don't like the disclaimer of awarding only "1/4 of prize" if someone is not active at that book during that time period. I understand the reasoning behind it because it's not fair to posters who are truly active at that book as the book is giving an opportunity to loyal players.

It just is a disadvantage to small-timers (I still consider myself small-timer as I dont make nickel or dime bets unless scalping/arbing and only having two active books at this time) even if my bankroll is still growing so I don't enter many contests. I wouldn't want to steal the full prize from fellow RX posters if I win any 1 of those via a tiebreaker (if I didn't enter, then someone else would have won the full prize).

Just mentioning my 5 cents' worth as it's just business practice but oh well.

I understand your concern,

usually, I try my best to make the requirments as minimal as possible, for example, with the recent SBG contest the players must wager a total of 100$ during the bowl season. Even someone who only wagers 10$ per game, should be able to acheive these numbers quite easily.

I was trying to get some attention

I mean you win a MAJOR contest of PAYOUT at the RX and you win over 45 other 300 dollar post up participants

and the way I get to defend my WIN this year is a Bonus Play contest...GEE THANKS rx

I get $1000 Bonus Plays a month with my play

SO I figured sayong a dime post up contest would get some peoples attention

Hey I figured I might only get 5 players at this time....so if there is a post up with at least 2o bowls plus I am in

BUT I MUST ADMIT I AM DISAPPOINTED THAT NO SET UP A MONEY UP CONTEST....KOJAK IF YOU HAD WON.....WOULD YOU NOT HAVE WANTED A REPEAT??????

JUST CHECKING:icon_conf

ALL IS GOOD I AM READY TO MAKE SOME CASH EITHER WAY!!! :thumbsup2:
