I don’t really understand the importance of sending out Christmas cards once you get married. I think there should be some Emily Post guideline to prevent this mass mailing to single people. I don’t understand the process. Your single and you don’t send out a Christmas card every year. Then, all of sudden you get married and you are in the King/Queen of Christmas and you have to show everyone. Sorry for the bitching, but Christmas cards are starting to cover up all my pizza and Chinese food coupons.

This year, I am going to buy a stripper for an hour on some holiday and get hammered with her, take a picture and send out a card. Chinese New Year. Why not?

That's why blank cards are great. Pretty much the only kind of card I get anyone.

But if I was married and had to engage in this tradition, the missus would be in charge of that.

Forget that!!

I had to send out thank you cards after my wedding, and it took me DAYS of writing cards, finding addresses, and paying for all the postage.

It's a waste.

Paterno, I think it's because women are all into the Christmas card thing. So when they get married, they are especially into it. Chicks like to show off their 'coupledom'.

The most annoying part of it all, to me, is when they sign it "Love, Tara, Kevin, and Baxter."

STFU. Your dog doesn't wish me a Merry Christmas.

Best Christmas Card I ever saw. A guy I know really didn't like cats, especially stray ones. He shot a bunch of them and then pinned them all on the side of a building and took a picture of himself with all the dead cats in the background. His caption was- "Merry Christmas. Hope you got as much puussy as I did this year." It was a classic but it got in the wrong hands and he got into a little trouble trying to explain all the dead cats.

That's positively horrifying.

The worst ones are the people who need to include a note with it and proceed to give you in chronological order everything they and there kids did the entire year...... Like i give 2 shits that your kid won the spelling bee back in March and your husband is now a boy scout leader.

It's called being puppets of society - which is most likely the reason they got married in the first place.
