According to NFL.com the following would have to happen for the Steelers to get in.

Pittsburgh win 2 remaining games

Jets lose to Miami

Jax lose two remaining games

Denver beat Bengals

Tenn lose at least 1 of 2 remaning games

I can see all of that happening except for Pitt winning both games...stranger things have happened.

10 percent?

Chances of Pitt winning both and the jags losing both is about 14-1.

Then you need the jets to lose to miami, denver beating cinci and tenn to lose a game (still adds some element of chance).

I would put their chances at roughly 50-1 or even 60-1. Just do the math on each game and that is what you should get.

Its like doing math on a parlay. Figure out the ML odds on each game and run it like a parlay.

they waited 1 game to early to start really playing football had they beaten the lowly Raiders we would be talking playoffs

Nobody in the AFC would like to see Pittsburgh coming to town in the playoffs. They are good enough to beat anybody in the NFL - just hasn't been their year
