Do any of you guys ever stop and take a break during a BIG winning streak?

Kind of weird but I just can't get as motivated as I once was. It started a few days before my big score last Thursday. The worse part is I am on a run of a lifetime for me and am enjoying my best month (by far) of my life.

I am really thinking about shutting everything down for a few weeks. I can't believe I am saying that. I have slowed down alot the past few days.

I haven't really taken a few days off all year(gambling) and work wise, I have had no vactaions in 5 years but I never complain about it, as I am pretty narrow minded and don't have alot of interests but am always very happy and in a good mood. Stress is VERY overrated in my opinion.

I want to use this time of the year as an excuse but my holidays aren't that bad with just 3 lousy Christmas parties and not alot of people to buy for.

I honestly hope this is just a small phase as I usually am the most passionate person I know when it comes to something I am interested in and right now the passion is just not there, at least gambling wise that is. You guys ever get like this? Like I said this is not normal for me.

Like I said this is just with gambling. My other phases of life are still great.

Starting to think it is a CBB thing. Have had some decent success with hoops the past year (both NBA and CBB) and CBB interests me zero. Maybe that is it.

These seasons go on and on.

If it's a chore take a day or two away... Having (your) right attitude is a key ingredient in seeing winners...

It could be coming to easy right now...I get this way when I win too much too quick...I really don't know how else to describe it, I get bored when I win too much! if that is the case you will come crashing down so be careful.

Stop for a couple weeks and don't do something dumb like bet too much on a couple games to try and get that high going.

Personally, never try to take a break of any significance(over 24 hours) whether winning or losing...........time is money, and money is time......... and to be honest, there is not a whole lot I would rather be doing than gambling/investing.

Do take lots of time-off throughout the day though to attend games, movies, be with friends, etc, etc..........but anything over 24 hours and I start shaking.

When I am on a winnin streak there is no pressure. If I feel like playin I do, if not then I do the other things in life that "normal" people do. Skiing, hiking, camping and travel are big to me and when I win, I reward myself. Can't imagine not takin vacations.

I get bored when I win to much to quick also. It is very weird.The games just dont interest me as much.
