What I don't understand though, if he wants to pla, why not move on to a team that can possibly win? There are teams he could still shine with...Imagine Favre in Dallas this year instead of Bledsoe...or Baltimore's QB, you can't tell me those two teams wouldn't be just as good with old Brett slining it around.

I think we see atleast two more years from #4...just wish he'd consider another team.

Not so fast my friends..Favre had a solid year for a weak Packers squad. :scared:

If he plays another season, he has more brain damage than I realized.

I will say this, he is still got a cannon. He lacks mobility with a weak offensive line. Still throws into coverage. A couple weeks ago he said he could not play for another team. McCarthy has told him he will not let him hold the Pack hostage this year.
My guess is he is back with the green and gold.

He's not going anywhere. Still better than a lot of the starting qb's in the league.

Favre will be lining up behind center with the help of a walker someday.

After throwing three interceptions in the redzone vs a woeful Lions secondary, they are lucky they covered the spread or we might not be talking about his retirement, but more about his funeral arrangements.

haha That me laugh some. "The master of deception" doesnt appear to be able to decieve so well anymore.

At one time I think his arsenal of fakes was a formidable set of weapons for him to use. Now, probably not so much.

Huge Favre backer here as most everyone knows.

Favre played a horrible game last week vs. the Lions..........but overall this year, would rate his performance a C+, not up to Favres potential, but a decent year.

In fact, if he would have had as good a game as he had bad game this past week against the Lions, he would have been my choice to represent the NFC in the PRO BOWL along with Bulger and Brees.

As a Packer fan and one that follows this team very closely, the Packers had one HELLUVA a draft last season..........led by WR JENNINGS and LB A.J. HAWK, as well as a host of others.

This team is still in playoff contention, as the youngest team in the entire NFL.

I agree Fish,

Little leary about tonight for the Pack. Tauscher back but could he be rusty. Like always they need to run the ball to be successful.

VIKINGS +3.5 or no play at all..........NO WAY should one be laying -3.5 with this Packer outfit in this revenge spot for the Vikings.

Having said that, will be cheering for a Packer 20+ point win.

I hope he has a big press conference to announce he's not sure of what he's doing yet. :103631605

Anyone who has read these Favre threads over the last 2 years knows I think he is not only past his prime, but he is a BAD quarterback at this stage in his career.

With that being said, he is playing 5 times better this season as he did last season. He was a walking turnover last season and in key situations. Their defense played better last season and he was the one giving up points.

Last week reminded me of his entire season last year.
