Just in case this does not happen, dont get all over my ass like most of you did last time when I reported the Lou Pinnella thing that I reported from ESPN and others.

Raiders firing Art Shell at the end of the season.

Has Al Davis lost his mind. Name one decent coach that would even grant this team an interview? What in the hell did Al Davis expect?

What a loser that organization is.

Shows you how great Jon Gruden is as a coach. Anyone who can compete on a high level with that organization deserves instant praise.

Anytime anyone goes 6 and 10 or better at Oakland, they should get coach of the year. Hell they should even name the award after them.

You cant fire you coach every single year AL.

Now, if Al Davis Jr and Al Locasale,etc..would kindly exit stage left to apple sauce at the old folks home(like they should've twenty years ago)..they'd really be onto something!

Hard to blame Shell for this. Wasn't he about the 6th choice?

No single player can help this team. They need alot of help.

The only coach that is probably avail for the raiders will be Steve Mariucci...but he wont be able to do anything.

If the Falcons get rid of Vick they will need to start all over. No receivers and no QB? Actually the Falcons could send their good 2nd string QB and pick up Moss and the other wide receiver and everybody would be happy..lol

Matt Schaub looks more and more like the starter next year. All this smoke around Vick means there must be some sort of fire. The Falcons are in a bind, if they don't give Schaub the job he will walk and a number of teams want him to be their starter. Atlanta though makes a lot of sense, they are essentially a running oriented offense so he would just be a complement, not the biggest part of the offense.

Receivers I think are a function of the quarterback and the system as much as their skills. I think the guys they have are 2nd and 3rd receivers, but definitely need an upgrade for a number one. If they do send Vick to the Raiders they just might get that Raiders 1st round pick and take hometown receiver Calvin Johnson and everyone will be happy.
