Opening this thread up for discussion.

How bad are the Cavs? I've now watched 2 games in 2 nights on National TV.

In both games they struggle to score. How? Why do they play so slow?

What's up with this team?
Are the poorly coached? I'd say yes.
Do they appear to lack a desire? I'd say yes.
Do they have talent? I'd say yes (supporting cast is avg in my opinion, but LeBron should help they rise above average.)

Here's what I wrote in dnuggets2's thread:

"That being said, the 5 road ATS losses were missed by the amounts of 8, 8, 10, 12 and 8.5 points. Mark your calendars for December 30th. That's when the Cavs visit the Bulls after hosting Milwaukee the night before."

Especially on the road the Cavs have done poorly in the 2nd game in 2 nights.

I think you might have an opportunity to bet against cleve vs. milw as they may be looking ahead to play Chi as they are in the same division and currently 1, maybe 2 games now, behind Chi. I will be interested to see thtis line when it comes out. I feel Cleve may get up for this game. I am GUESSING,... but i would think this line will end up Cleve +6 give or take a1/2

Thoughts???
Thanks for the look ahead !!!!:thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

I hope people still are'nt buying into that crap about Lebron being better than Jordan was at the same age. Mike would will his team to victorys and dominate the game, something Lebron cant do consistently.

Mike didn't do that at the age LeBron is now.

I hope you're seriously not trying to bash Lebron...

Lebron has averaged:

27.2 pts, 7.4 reb, 7.2 ast in 04-05
31.4 pts, 7.0 reb, 6.6 ast in 05-06
26.8 pts, 6.5 reb, 6.8 ast in 06-07 so far

And he's still 21 years old...at his age, Jordan was still living in dorm rooms at North Carolina...it's no comparison.

I enjoy watching Lebron play and think hes a great player...but he can't take over games like...say Kobe can...when it comes to crunchtime. His supporting cast does kind of suck, and is very inconsistent, and he can't carry this team on his shoulders for the sole reason that opponents specifically take away his driving ability late in games. Lebron's shot is still something to be desired. Yes, his shooting percentage is 47+ % right now, but that's cause the majority of his shots are layups and dunks. Take that away, which teams do by playing zone, and his shooting percentage is dismal. Until he further develops this, his team will be average and he won't be able to carry them by himself.

Oh...and stop comparing him to Jordan. You're doing them both a disservice as they are different players in different eras. The only think they have in common is that they both rep Nike.
