For those of you that beleive in the Pinny lean tonite is one, they have Rice -5.5 -110 while most everyone else is at -5. They are practically begging you to take the dog so others will bet the favorite at another book.

I am going against this move and betting the dog and the under when I see +6 and and 56.

Sorry to be misinformed---but seriously, can someone explain the "Pinny lean" to me and how it helps one gain an advantage?

Pinnacle didn't have what would be considered a lean on Rice. No idea how you came up with that.

sure they did. Almost all day long they had -5.5 -110 and every other sharp book was at -5. They were begging you to take +5.5 +100 and even +6 at -110 or as some would do is bet the -5 at another book and uses Pinny's opinion of the favorite covering here, which lost.

Iceman, just saw this....

I think you are right on. Anyways I saw this along time ago, I usually compare SIA to Pin and/or cascade. SIA is where I bet most of my plays and have the most success at. Pin is the opposite, and I have heard that cascade has pretty sharp lines on certain games as well. AS for tonight, I did not really have much time to look at this one, but for the half hour I was on and checking this matchup out I liked Troy mostly because namely 1 I am a contrarian and secondly I saw the lines at a time when I could get the best line for Rice at Pin and the best line for Troy a whole point better at SIA. Told me that pin wanted Rice action and SIA taking the as I call it more shaded number, cascade was also right there with Pin. anyways long useless post.... but enjoy the fact when others bring this type of stuff up.

Pinny usually shows a lean when their line goes from lets say -10 -112 to -10.5 -117 in 1 move right before game this happened when Rutgers played W Virginia and it was a solid winner.
