how can these guys keep printing this crap. has nothing to do with skin color...its about ability. people are critical of mike vick, aaron brooks and kordell stewart because they stink. just like joey harrington, cade mcnown and tim couch stink.

they compare vick to manning and say that, in a situation where the play is not there that vick is taught to "make something happen" and manning is taught to "throw the ball away"...then imply that this is some sort of racist agenda. this may in fact be what they are taught but it is in no way based on skin color...it is based on ability. coaches probably asked fran tarkenton and steve young to "make plays" all the time. but, i doubt jack delrio wants byron leftwich or david gerrard running up the middle on 3rd and 12.

just another ridiculous article defending poor play by implying racism. i'm sick of it.

If anyone has has had it tough as far as living up to a legend who has had roguher go than than Wayne Gandy, I mean who will ever forget his grandfather Mahatma?

Vick sucks so bad at QB that they're debating moving him to a new position, but this jerkoff thinks it's all about race? I'm with Blue - of course there is racism out there. Always has been, always will be, but that doesn't mean we ought to start making up imaginary cases to sell some ads online.

Pathetic - Yahoo Sports should be embarrassed that they have an editor who would actually allow such rubbish to get published. Oh, and as for coaching turnover -- Brees and his bum shoulder with a new team don't seem to be having any problems, so maybe it's actually possible for talent to overcome adversity.
