According to police, Willis was taken into custody at about 4 a.m. (et) outside a South Beach nightclub after he had urinated on the street and refused to take a breath test.
The police report added that Willis appeared confused and disoriented with bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech. There was also a strong odor of alcohol.
Willis was being held at Miami-Dade County Jail on $1,000 bond. The 24-year-old lefty was 12-12 with a 3.87 earned run average in 2006, and owns a career mark of 58-39 with a 3.44 ERA in four big league seasons.
