The Lightning were trailing the RANGERS 3-0 to start the 3rd but BOYLE has scored THREE goals in the first 10 minutes of the period, and coupled with a LACAVLIER goal, the Bolts have grabbed an unbelievable 4-3 lead.

WHAT A GAME!

Anybody watching this?

Lightning winning netminder HOLMQVIST only played the 3rd period.

The Rangers had 12-13 shots in the 3RD period alone.

VERY IMPRESSIVE 3 WINS IN A ROW FOR THE BOLTS!!!

VERY STREAKY

They have played well in a few of their losses, many times dominating the games and coming up just short.

(AP) - The New York Rangers let another game slip away.
Dan Boyle had three goals and an assist during Tampa Bay's four-goal third period and the Lightning rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Rangers on Saturday night.
"This hurts," New York captain Jaromir Jagr said after the Rangers' season-high fifth consecutive loss.
"I don't know what to say. If somebody would have told me before the third period it's going to happen, I would say 'You're crazy.' But it happened."
The Lightning appeared headed to their ninth loss in 12 games, trailing 3-0 after two periods. Boyle changed the momentum with two goals in the first 2:29 of the third.
After assisting on Vincent Lecavalier's power-play goal that tied the score at 5:56, Boyle completed his first career hat trick on a wrist shot from the slot to make it 4-3 with 8:57 left.
"It's an awesome feeling," Boyle said.
New York had goals from Martin Straka, Blair Betts and Aaron Ward. The Rangers also blew a lead in their previous game, allowing three goals in the third period of a 3-2 loss at Florida on Thursday night.
Rangers coach Tom Renney said Saturday's loss was not the low point of the season.
"It sounds crazy to say that, but I think this is important stuff, I really do," Renney said. "I'm not going to dress up a pig's ear, it is what it is. But you know what? We will be better for this."
Boyle's first goal, 62 seconds into the third, came on the power play. It was a complete reversal from the first when Tampa Bay had three power plays during the opening 8 minutes, but had just three shots and failed to score.

(AP) - Vincent Lecavalier scored a tiebreaking power-play goal with 8:07 left in the third period to help the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the New York Rangers 3-2 on Saturday night.
Lecavalier's goal from the top of the right circle came after the Rangers were penalized for having too many men on the ice. Rangers captain Jaromir Jagr argued with officials to no avail after the penalty was called.
Tampa Bay, which has won 10 of 12, also got goals from Paul Ranger and Brad Richards. Johan Holmqvist made 24 saves.
Jason Krog and Michael Nylander scored for the Rangers, who have lost six of nine. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 38 shots.
It was the Rangers' first game since left winger Brendan Shanahan's comments after a loss to Toronto on Wednesday night in which he called for an end to unfair officiating he feels Jagr endures.
Jagr didn't draw any penalties, which appeared to be correct. He did have an assist.
Tampa Bay, however, got the first four power plays, converting the fourth chance when Richards scored from left circle to give the Lightning a 2-1 lead with 5:54 left in the second. The next two minor penalties were called against Tampa Bay, which resulted in Nylander's tying goal at 18:23 during a 4-on-3 power play.

Referees Don Koharski and Craig Spada ended the second by calling two minors against the Rangers.
The Lightning were 2-of-7 with the man advantage. The Rangers converted one of three power-play opportunities, with the final chance coming with 1:41 left.
Krog scored on the rebound goal after a tough angle shot by Shanahan to put the Rangers ahead 1-0 at 7:31 of the first. Ranger tied it at 1 on a rebound backhander from the high slot at 6:51 of the second.
Notes: Lecavalier has scored a goal in three straight games. ... Rangers D Michal Rozsival (knee) missed his second straight game. ... Tampa Bay captain Tim Taylor (flu) didn't play for the third consecutive game.

Lecavalier now leads the league in goals.............he gets my vote for the MVP............screw that goalie up in Jersey.
