I am telling you......this year I have lost soo much interest in College Football because of this rule change. It has taken alot of excitement out of the game. I cannot believe that the people who submited this rule change thought that this would be better for the game. I hope they change it back to the way it was or at least to the way the NFL is.
It is the equivalent of playing 4 13 minute quarters u nder last season's rules. What's hilarious is that half-times last longer than some quarters now..literally. They just add more commercials and the 'game' last 3 to 3.5 hours or more any way. Like I have been saying all season. Total watering down of product. Tickets prices didn't go down due to less action I am sure.
Huh? This been going on 4 months and you guys just noticing? I hammered some unders in September and got the hell out of college football for the year halfway in mainly because of this change. Its like playing an 8 inning baseball game.

In my opinion the dumbest rule changes ever are the ones the NBA have done over the past 10-15 yrs JUST because of Shaq. One man alone has caused a half a dozen rule changes...thats pure insanity. And to Shaq's credit hes not whined about it too much. Maybe he really should be a cop when he retires, he could bring some character to the force.
While im complaining, ill chime in about the replay timeouts in ALL sports. This are aimed at you and I. These replays and challenges are designed 100% to make the bettor feel more comfortable and do,in fact, result in more fairness. But id rather go without them and just accept "officiating mistakes" as part of the game, much like weather or injuries.
