I do.

I would also pose: How many feel guilty betting on Sundays, especially when it means skipping church to "get down?"

I do not see the point in doing something only at certain times of the year ...

If your reglious your religious if your not your not ... going to midnight mass once a year is not going to save you if you do not practice it all year IMHO

There's always next year, like in 75, 90-93, 99 &

I go to church once per year for every non-medically-interfere child birth given by a virgin.

This is interesting. How can you be religious but also be a degenerate gambler? I thought the bible looks down upon gambling?

Dante,
Let me show you the point. You are correct that going to midnight Mass once a year is NOT going to save you; practicing it all year long likewise will not save you. The only thing that will save you, is the exact same thing that will save anyone else, ie. accepting the gift of salvation offerred by God Himself through the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ. But if you have accepted this gift, wouldn't you want to go to Mass or church and thank God for this gift? The point is, it is obviously better to go to Mass/church today than to not go. It may not be as good as going every Sunday, just as going every Sunday is not as good as going everyday, etc. etc. One can always do better and indeed one should strive to do better. But many people make the mistake of thinking that they have done wrong all their lives and it is too late to change now. That is just flatout wrong! Look at the thief crucified next to Christ...he literally repented and asked for salvation minutes before he died....it is never too late, where there is life, there is hope!

Go to Mass/church today, Dante...thank God for this gift of salvation that was given today!
