Railbird....
Obama is 6/1 at Hollywood.

Decent odds but personally I don't think it is the right bet.

My money is on Edwards. The other two are all up against history. Since no woman or african american ever came close to winning their party nomination. Plus Edwards is from the south, so he's going to get that southern support. The only thing he needs to work on is to raise enough campaign funds to be competitive.

No, Rail, he's actually perceived as being Chinese..... stick with LL baseball and tennis, it's obvious you don't have a clue about politics either.

He ain't exactly white, therefore he's sort of black, but not too black. I think he has a decent shot... Democrat ( due), sorta a semi-black, youngish like a JFK, fairly good-looking ( I guess ?), not Hillary. Politics aren't my forte, I don't know a whole lot about the guy, think he's a senator ( maybe a governer ?) from one of those states that starts with the letter "I" ( or was it "O" ?)... one of those "vowel"states.

He seems like a good transitional candidate.... not all the way back to re-electing Hillary, a Dem, youngish, blackish, attractive and tall ( ?).

A contender for sure, unless there's dirt from the past on him, that I don't know about.

I pass the bet, but would use a FP on the man at good + odds.

Not my style to tie up money long-term on poitics, but he's my ( unbet) horse.

Good teeth, too !

I don't know how tall he is ( another factor). I think America might be ready for a semi-black JFK type, but no bet for me.

Blacks are something like 20% of the population ( I believe). B.O. should tend to get that vote, women might tend to vote for him because he might be the best looking guy running ( ?), young people might vote him over an old guy.

He seems a dangerous guy to go against, betting-wise. I personally think USA elects a black (ish) man before a woman ( sort of in HC). I sure ain't laying -1500 that BO isn't elected ( if offerred).

B.O. got some things going for him, I don't look at his record, I look at his picture, as voters do.

I have no clue if he is a good guy, he's a senator or governor from Indiana or Iowa or Oklahama or somewhere.

He is a senator from the STATE of Illinois. I don't think you can rule him out at all because of race. He's a US senator! I'm a white Southerner and would support him over Hillary any day!

I'd vote for him in a second but a lot of voters won't; given that the Dems' two leading candidates are a black dude and a woman, you've gotta like the Repubs at +100.

I don't vote, but I sure as hell ain't shorting B.O. in the long term markets, if anything I bet on him. The man has certain qualities that make electable, IMO ! I'm not a politics guy, but Taylor Hicks won A.I., didn't he ?

How different is an election ?

So he's somebody from a vowel state, probably a lawyer also... typical credentials, he isn't Arnold Schartzenandeggerer or Jesse Ventura... in other words he's a standard candidate, even more reason to not fade him.

Any dirt on B.O. ?

If I were to bet this, he'd be my early pick !
