Obviously the franchise is a joke right now, so why not add the punchline.
Makes a little bit of sense because
A) They can't run or block on the offensive line.
B) They could run up Moss' stats and keep him happy
C) They could bring Tim Chang to training camp to resurrect Tang.
D) It might finally kill Al Davis, and thus the franchise can return to respectability.

If nothing else, we could see 50-38 games instead of 20-9 on the NFL Network.

i acually think that oak isnt in as big of a mess as people say...their defense is young, especially secondary, tough and highly underrated...they have some talent on offense and are willing to spend money...say they bring in matt schaub next year and lamont jordan healthy and draft calvin johnson....and get o-line help via free agency...the problem is they have brought in the wrong players via fa and made many bad front office moves, but give me this team and in 2 years they will be back to playoffs....
***note***i'm not at the least bit a raiders fan.

Agree that with the right front office moves, they would be back in no time.
BUT this is coming from a team who's last two big FA signings were AARON BROOKS and RANDY MOSS.
Asking them to get a few solid, unheralded O-linemen and draft smart is like asking Matt Millen to do a good job.

and dirk koeter(ariz. st) is the worst....remember that game against i think usc when he punted when losing with under 2 minutes left with no timeouts....usc was able to just kneel the game out.....he did almost the same punting down 10 points to hawaii with under 3 to go....that combined with the whole sam keller/rudy carpenter situation, he is gone.
