Everyone should have clear defined goals in all phases of their lives and their gambling lives are no different, that is if you take this somewhat serious and are trying to win. Here are my top 3 goals for 2007 in gambling:
1) Keep better detailed records with a spreadsheet. Something breaking down each and every bet type so I can look back and see where I enjoyed my most success and I know what areas to work on. I already keep decent records currently on my daily and monthly results and how much I made with bonuses and deduct for expenses (w/d's and Don Best service). But if it isn't too much time and effort I want to categorize every bet (middles, beating closing number, following cappers, scalps, my capped games, etc...) and have the results so I know what my strengths and weaknesses are. I would have to think this helps the bottom line.
2) Scalp and also cap baseball and overall have a winning baseball season using both methods. I put a TON of time into baseball daily from April thru August and lost but I think I learned quite a bit about it and am ready for next year. This is the only months I lost (May, June and August) last year in betting sports. After all the hard wok I realizied that making $50 a day scalping baseball I could have made $1,500 a month profit. Alot of people on here have given me this reputation that I am a scalper which is not really true. I have failed miserably at it but I also beleieve with a bigger bankroll (which I have now), passion (which I have always had) and dedication that I can make this happen next year in baseball.
3) Go to another level at gambling. On a scale of 1-10 with 5 being your average gambler (has a small bankroll, caps his games, and knows the little things like betting alot of dogs and the like), I think I was around a 6 last year. I think thru HARD WORK, DEDICATION, and a few other smaller traits I went up a notch this year to a 7.5. I want to go to the next level this year and want to be a 9. Someone that continues to learn the small things that most gamblers don't know. To work daily on learning the more complex things in gambling and putting them to use. I think if I do this than it will show up in my bottom line results at the end of the year.
Here is to a great 2007 RX'ers:toast:
