Pinnacle software bug

Just thought id share a bug i have been having with pinnacle lately.

After selecting the parlay screen, then going back to regular betting options, all of the regular bets now have increased vig and are set to -110 pricing. After logging out and back in they reset back to -105 style pricing.

Ive noticed this about 2 weeks ago and it is a recurring problem. Keep an eye out for this if you ever place parlay wagers there.

i have noticed that for a while now.i like to play dog parlays and they were always sometimes 20 or 30 cent different on the parlay screen than the regular screen.just thought they were shamming

here is one example.notice the huge difference in monyelines.why do books have to do stuff like this?don't they have a big enough edge already.while i did win one of the plays i wished i would have won them both and shoved it up their ass

just my opinion but that it a shitty standard ..for they are supposed to be the best in the industry and should not have to resort to shaving money off of,of all things parlays.very classy:bunnies:

no figured it would do no good.just look like sour grapes.

here's the deal ,i know booking and have told people a million times before if you don't like the lines don't play here.

but that still don't make it right and to me there is a big difference between bar room bookies and what pinnacle proclaims themselves to be.

like i said it is just my opinion and to me it is shady and to see it still going on is disturbing.i never brought it up and was just waiting to see if anyone else noticed it.

the examples i gave are about as clear cut as you can get,just look at the times.

but i also know that i made the decision to play them anyway

Noticed this at pinnacle for sometime now , seems as though they change the vig after you make choices in a parlay, they are supposed to be the best, best at what, screwing the players as do some locals, that is why i don't play with the locals anymore,oh well i guess if you don't like it go somewhere else, right?

Pinnys parlay mls are and have been higher than straight bet mls forever. Not news and no biggie. And they are clearly different before you select your games.

well if you look at these that is not the case. the parlay ml's ARE WAY LOWER.

so it is not news when pinny has different lines,but is big news when others do?

and i agree that it is clear from the time you bet,but does that make it right?

When I first played at Pinny, I was not used to the concept of "separate parlay odds page" but keeping in mind how Pinny's prices/juice are one of most competitive in the industry... THEN realizing that while most books allow you to pick wagering selections off the bat & then with a checkmark or button, you tell the book you want a "straight bet", "parlay", "teaser" etc...but other books' higher price balances out the payout of the parlay you would receive since they provide the lines ALL ON ONE PAGE.

Pinny would be "raped" for many parlays if we could choose their -102 to -104 spread juice or their generous +735 ML lines when everyone else have the ML set at, say +650, and juice at standard -110 or such. Yes, their parlay page with their own different prices aren't that great, but often is STILL better than other books, but the practice isn't sneaky or malicious, in my opinion.

After reading the OP again, yes, I realize the point was just about how the regular prices being jacked up (after visiting the parlay pages where we are expecting a lower + amount or higher - amount than what we saw on the regular page).

I have seen that before, and yeah, I logged off to reset and see the regular pricing. I don't make parlays all that often so if I saw that like last month, then it's a big problem that hasn't been fixed in weeks, wow.

Pinny is very competitive when tossing in say 6 larger ML dogs in a parlay, I don't know of anywhere else that consistantly beats them on ML parlays.

They want the best of both worlds. Good low juice on straight bets and at the same time telling the parlay bettors that you don't get these lines. Kind of shitty and amatuerish.

The reason they need to offer higher juice on parlays is because they can't easily lay off action on parlays, but they can with straight bets.

You guys have got the original intention of my post wrong. I realize that when making parlay wagers you get worse odds there. I just wanted to let everyone know about a bug that has been happening where after visiting the parlay page, your REGULAR straight wager screen becomes corrupted to the same odds as thier parlay page.

Example:

I place a parlay bet. I go back to the regular betting menu and try to place a straight wager. The odds for the straight wager are the same as they were on the parlay page, -110 odds and reduced moneyline payouts. I need to log out and back in before I can get the normal -105 pricing for straight wagers.

Right, I understood what you meant. Other people have posted about the same bug on other forums, so did you contact Pinnacle to let them know?
