Once again a team would rather lose than let the other team score.

Why allow the Jets to run it out, why not go down 7 with 2 minutes left?

This will never make sense to me.

Mike Holmgren did that in the Super Bowl against the Broncos and all the morons in the media were calling him out on it.

If Saban had done that, I bet morons like Michael Irvin would have called Saban out - and now that he does the stupid thing, all the morons in the media don't say anything.

Played it safe and lost...and why not go for it on 4th and one even...what did Miami have to lose? Did they feel they owed it to the league to play the game as if it mattered to them?

I'd rather have a shot at a tie then no shot at all...I estimate that 90 times out of 100 the Jets will kick the FG and make it in that spot.

I am sure that the chances of missing a FG under 35 yards in less than 5% in the NFL.

The Jets have botched a few FG's the last few weeks. IF they didn't make that last 5 yard run on third down it is a little farther back. It was wet and rainy too. He could have missed.

They blew it giving up a 70 yard run on a screen pass when they had the guy contained. That was the game. I would not let him walk in from there on a wet field when they previously missed one especially.

I would have liked to see him go for it on 4th and 1 too. Play to win.

Pennington is a damn good QB.
