I know there is one word for this - undisciplined.

But man, sometimes when there are not many games, I find myself wagering on stuff not because I know crap about either team, but because I love the action. I will still do some research (particularly soccer) and actually end up doing OK, but I love having that game going.

I also know that's when I need to take a nice long break since I have lost all focus but sometimes its tough.

Case in point - I am home with my kids today, playing with Christmas stuff and start looking over the early action. A few NCAA games but nothing I like. I love the Belmont / Rice over tonight and also like the Texas A&M team total over 23 1/2 tonight.

So what do I have going right now - the Frankfurt Lions and the Augsburger Panther in German hockey over 6 1/2 (whoo hoo, Lions score at the 8:38 mark of the second pd to make it 3-1). You think I have any idea who are on either of these teams? For all I know, they sing some song praising Hitler before the game and give the Hitler sign after they score (just like Mr. Pitt when the "stocks will rise HIGH in Seinfeld)."

The more I type this, the more it sounds like a need a break...

Anybody else wager just cause they have the itch??
