For me it will be to bet less plays...be much more selective and bet more per play.

Betting too many plays cost me this year....it is easier said then done though to bet less games.

To play a lot more poker. And a lot less horse racing. LOL Like today sitting in front of the puter watching TVG and betting small plays all day. Hey it's still 2006 though.

Thanks for starting this thread JMan.

I've been trying to do this most of the last half of 2006. I have been successful betting fewer plays and it has helped me not lose so much.

However, I feel I'm just spinning my wheels, in part from my own plays. I may just plan to tail some cappers on here and forget all the rest.

I may do some analysis of past results but I won't bet them at first. I think I'll just keep track in a spreadsheet until I can prove if the system is viable.

I think a lot of us are victims of too much info now...it's time to crunch it down and be more selective.

You can beat a race, but you can't beat the races.
I quit the ponies awhile ago.

Me?
I've been told I have a very good poker game, and just needs to be more pot agressive, so that's my resolution, to attack the pots harder.

My overall resolution may get me in a little trouble but it is too be more agressive(sp) as a gambler.

I have a bigger bankroll, a ton of passion, and some past success, so I may need to up my play just a little betting wise and also bet more games. I am winning at around 2% ROI like clockwork each month so I know if I push enough money thru I should win (I hope).

I know that this can be riskier but I think it is time to turn my play up a little. I feel (and I will find out if this true) that if my plays are good quality plays and I make enough of them and I should win. In the past year I have found other avenues (1st halfs and halftimes) to find more quaility plays so I hope to expand on that.

My other minor resolution is to scratch and claw and beat baseball. I love the sport and I love betting it but it is the sport I have had the most trouble with. I have beat hoops (ncaa and nba) this past year and had a great year with Football (esp NFL) but baseball reamains the unsolved mystery in my gambling quest. I know I am going to put forth a 110% effort this year so we shall see.

Make myself bet unders...just can't do it...I'd rather lose a wager hoping for points than sit and beg that no scoring takes place...I guess its just that sports is made to score in my mind and I can't get away from that mentality...

Haha. That sounds like me cheapseats, what I did is just look for unders only and bet them exclusively until I got into the habit and not going into a knee jerk response by betting the under. It is hard but can be broken.

As far as my my resolution it has to be money management.
