That's exactly what went through my head when they were talking about Tate and the NFL in the 1st quarter tonight. Almost identical physically and style of play.

Good comparison but Tate is doing his act in college, I doubt Tate makes much of an NFL QB.

What can you say, pro scouts want only a couple of things out of a player. Production or even success at the college level isn't exactly crucial. What did Marcus Vick accomplish? A guy remembered almost exclusively for the crap he got into is drawing an NFL paycheck while plenty of Heisman winners are out selling real estate or insurance.
