If David Carr had been originally drafted by a team with half a brain on the offesnvie side of the ball who would have given him an offensive line and more than an average of 1.2 -1.3 seconds to throw the ball after the snap, I think he would have been Carson Palmer, Peyton Manning material.
Unfortuantely, he may be FUBARed at this point.
( He does not trust his o-line and only trusts his dump-offs (well, actually, he only reads them) when he's throwing. I'll trust Kubiak's assessment of Carr's performance at the end of the year and see if he is starting for us next year.
Carr's definitely in a no-win situation here, though. I doubt even if he took us to the playoffs, people would still be calling for our heads during our inevitable exit our first time into the playoffs.
