You go to a low volume poker site, where the players start noticing your name, and as soon as you enter the SNG 2 or 3 regulars always drop out of the tourney because thay know they have been had when they see your name.

Maybe, but truth is you get paid because of the fish in the game, not because you avoid a few good players. The big game at the Bellagio goes whenever there is just one fish. They have 6 or 7 sharks slowplaying each other waiting for one fish, a guy who is probably a decent player, but a total mark against the best.

thats not always true
a lot of good players have reputations as fish from players who actually are fish but dont understand the game at all (the type who will happy call an all in with ace 9 on a 48 9 2 heart flop vs your 10 J hearts and thin you sucked out if you won)

I have also played many players who arent good at all but basically take up space. They dont win any pots but getting money out of them is like siphoning gas with a straw. I could beat these players easily but there are usually other tables where I can make even more money.

I think your on to something there Chop.....i know i can sit down at a SNG that hasnt run in an hour and by the time i sign up and get a drink of water the things at the 3rd level......lol I must be on every buddy list on the site ! i know what their player notes on me say....FREE MONEY !
