Betmania - "games Cannot Be Teased"

This morning as I went on betmania I wanted to place a 7pt teaser but discovered 5 games are not on the teaser menu..

Miami/ Indy
Atl/ Philly
Buff/ Balt
Det/ Dallas
Oak/ NYJ

frustrated by this I tried to call in and ask for an explination to see why this is.. I called an Betmania and the first guy hung up on me after telling me he was going to transfer me, then I called again and asked them the same question as to why these games cannot be teased. At first they coulnd't give me a straight awnser and I had to ask at least 5 times before they transfered me to a manager. A manager named Victor talked to me and his specific reply was "Betmania management has recieved many implications on these 5 games and that these teases are to their disadvantages and no players can tease these games" In essence, it had to take them 20 mins to explain this to me.

I'm not trying to achieve anything by this, I just want to let other players that use betmania know what a great book they are using

Sorry about the delete, it was an accident. We have no problem with people posting their own experiences at books. In fact, our goal is for people to post real experiences, rather than just chiming into others.

You are not on post review, did you get a message that said different?

betmania isnot a full feature book but they have several things to offer, hang in there with them.

After the discovery that my post was deleted I created a new post that was titled "why did the RX delete my post" and that thread to this minute hasn't showed up so I was under the assumption that I was on post review since there was a delay in my thread showing up. Sorry if I made an incorrect assumption

they did this during college football too, but only one or two games a week and it went under the radar. I thought that was a joke, five of the NFL games is ridicolous

i usually place some teasers there on Sundays too, just didn't today. glad I didn't as I would've gone on that wild duck hunt with betmania management as to why the games were "unteaseable". and a response like the one you got would've only got me more mad

pretty much... the first clerk I asked couldn't even give me a straight response...it's not like people are giving betmania good feedback on the forum, this can only hurt them..

I think that most books could stand to improve their communication to customers. I completely understand why BetMania made the decision, but a simple message posted on their site with a brief explanation that something is different today would go a long way, and save some phone calls.

I completely understand why Betmania made the decision to not offer teasers also. But I think a simple message posted on their site with a brief explanation that something is different today would be superfluous and unnecessary. First of all, the fact that they wouldn't accept the teaser bets was message enough. The book sets the lines and the bets they will or will not accept. If they say they won't take teaser bets today on 5 games, what difference does it make? I won't believe what they say their reason is anyway. The point is, it is their right to either accept teaser bets or not. It is a waste of time to call them; of course it is a questionable bet in the first place.

Kobe, I have had this happen to me before too. I think it is a default when you create a post about an advertisor.

Yea, took a couple people to get an anwer for me the other day for a payout. A simple we only process 2.5K per week would have been good. But I got the complete run-a-round

Everything I've read indicates that BetMania is another book that only wants iidots and doesn't want anybody with a vague clue. It doesn't surprise me in the least that your post was deleted since the RX will do anything to protect its advertisers. I haven't had critical posts deleted yet but I've had them edited.

I played at BetMania for a while but they just pissed me off. There were many times were I wanted to bet a certain game and was unable to for whatever reason. They don't even let you make if bets off pending games. The whole reason I joined was to make a pleaser bet but I called up and had found out they decided to stop taking but it serves them right I ended up making it and parlay and hitting a 4 game parlay where the pleaser would have lost.
