Millionaire Raffle is a new and exciting, limited-time game from the Georgia Lottery that creates four new Georgia millionaires in time for the New Year! With the best odds ever of winning $1 million from the Georgia Lottery, 1 in 125,000, Millionaire Raffle tickets are expected to be a hot ticket this holiday season. A computerized drawing on New Year's Eve will randomly select four winners of $1 million each (cash prize), five winners of $100,000 each, and 500 winners of $1,000 each from the limited group of 500,000 raffle tickets to be sold.

How do you play Millionaire Raffle?
Tickets for the Georgia Lottery's Millionaire Raffle can be purchased at any Georgia Lottery retailer throughout the state of Georgia. A total of 500,000 raffle tickets will be printed and sold in numeric order until they are sold out. There are no playslips for Millionaire Raffle.

How many winners are there in the New Years Eve drawing?
There will be four winners of $1 million each (cash), five winners of $100,000 each and 500 winners of $1,000 each.

What are the odds of winning a prize in the Millionaire Raffle?
The odds of winning any prize in the Millionaire Raffle game are 1 in 982. The odds of winning one of the four $1 million prizes are 1 in 125,000. The odds of winning one of the five $100,000 prizes are 1 in 100,000. The odds of winning one of the 500 $1,000 prizes are 1 in 1,000.

When can I buy a Millionaire Raffle ticket?
Millionaire Raffle tickets go on sale on November 19, 2006. Tickets will be available until the 500,000 tickets are sold out. Don't miss out!

Can a player pick his/her own number?
No. Tickets will be sold in numeric order through the lottery terminal. There is no playslip or manual number entry involved in this game. Each Georgia Millionaire Raffle ticket will have a unique number - there will not be any repeat or duplicate ticket numbers.

How much does a Millionaire Raffle ticket cost?
Each Millionaire Raffle ticket costs $20.

When will the drawing take place?
The Millionaire Raffle will take place on December 31, 2006. Draw results for the $1 million and $100,000 prize levels will be announced during the 6:59pm CASH 3 Evening drawing on December 31, 2006. Click here for a list of official lottery draw stations. These results ($1 million & $100,000 prize levels) will be available on the Georgia Lottery's Player Information Hotline and Winning Numbers Reports generated at retailer locations. Complete results of the 509 winning raffle numbers will be available on the GLC web site at www.galottery.com and will also be mailed to retailers for posting.

In the event that all 500,000 raffle tickets are not sold by December 30, 2006, the GLC may extend sales and the drawing date until all tickets are sold.

How will the winning raffle tickets be selected?
The GLC is very serious about the security and integrity of our games. The winning numbers will be selected by a computerized random number generator. The random number generator software has been certified using widely accepted statistical analysis formulas by Gaming Laboratories International, an outside gaming device and systems testing laboratory. As with all Georgia Lottery drawings, representatives of the Georgia Lottery Corporation's Security Department and an external auditor will be present to conduct and certify the drawing.

Can a Millionaire Raffle ticket be canceled?
No. Millionaire Raffle tickets cannot be canceled.

Georgia Millionaire Raffle tickets make great holiday gifts!

Is this a lump-sump payout or a 20 years annuity for $50K a year? If it's a 20-year then you're not a millionaire but a working stiff without a job for 20 yrs. I'd take that job anyday.

Lump sum in Minnesota raffle so you get 600,000 and change after taxes
