Wow can't believe some of the openers. Jets +9? Hawks -2.5/3? This week is the best time to back dogs during the playoffs, I could make a good case for every one of them.

JETS +9 is high strictly opening line to help ward off 6 point teasers...i thought 7 was right

This makes no sense. They do this for teasers on gameday - not a week in advance. Who plays teasers a week before the game?

On gameday, lines will jump and change vig to protect against teasers, but if you worry about teasers when posting opening lines, what will you do if heavy action comes in on the Jets? Leave it there and adjust the vig? Simply because you're worried about the recreational player that might play a $100 teaser?
