The perfect playcall on 4th and 18...4th and 2...and the 2 point conversion.

That was one of the best playcalling I have EVER seen. The fact that the team was so well prepared to execute those type of plays on 3 different occassions shows this staff is solid.

Give credit to the BSU staff but damn you can't blame coaches for 20 year old kids getting beat on some trick plays. Stuff they just don't work on much. The game is played by the players. It isn't like Stoops can come out there and can tackle those guys.

Sometimes players just make winning plays and coaches make gutsy calls and they work. No reason to rip another coach for it. The fact Oklahoma came back at all is a testament to they never quit.

There are no losers here.

me neither but seems to be everyones first thing said when a team loses nowadays. Players make plays. If it was all coaching then why do some coaches lose at other programs. Coaches put programs in place but players make plays on gameday (IMO).

Boise's Coach Peterson WON this game.

exactly, many coaches would have kicked the PAT and then lost... he knew it was time to ride the momentum.... wasnt afraid to make the calls that counted.

NO LOSERS? Oh please.

It's called preparation.

Think of the three times Oklahoma went for the 2-pt conversion. Stoops called THREE STRAIGHT FADES TO THE LEFT and the actually QB threw the fade twice. Is that the best Stoops could come up with?

Urban Meyer will be on display next week. I guarantee you that he won't throw three straight fades. Maybe then you will admit it.

Don't get me wrong from a fan standpoint it was great but I really wonder how many would feel this way if they failed on the 2 pointer. He would have got lambasted by alot of people for his decision.

you think a coach makes a system? The ex coach at asu and hawkins at colorado now , they both did well with Boise but not so well after going to their new jobs. Now Peterson comes in and goes undefeated!

Well, if he had thrown the fade like dumb Stoops, of course we have lambasted him - but he didn't.

Peterson KNEW what Oklahoma would do before Bob Stoops knew Oklahoma would do - and he knew how he would counter it.

Don't think you can blame Stooops for the TD on 4th and 18; when a receiver catches the ball well short of the marker on a 4th down play the players are supposed to look for the lateral. They looked like they had never seen one before.

Boise did the same thing to them at the end of the first half too, so it wasn't luck - it was PREPARATION.

Was Stoops out there blocking on the plays the QB got rushed or when the holes were so small that Peterson couldn't find a lane or when Peterson chose to cut right on a play that he should cut back left was that Stoops fault?

What about the OLB and DE who lost contain on the last 2 point play was it Stoops that taught them to break contain? How about every bad play that happened and every honest mistake made by human athletes out there was that his fault? There human beings not robots, you can only have so much control before natural instincts and physical talents take over.

They played a hard fought good game and that is a reflection of their coach.

No Shit? ......but everyone is saying Stoops lost this one.....cant we just tip our hat to the man that wears the headset for BSU and congratulate him for an outstanding call in crunch time....instead of saying....Stoops was outcoached....WHATEVER! I find those that echo these sentiments have never played athletics in there life. Come on. It was a great game and the Coaches tried their damndest on both sides and it just soo happens in competion one side always loses. Coaches are blamed way to much in this day and age. Thats my story and Im sticking to it.
