in the past 2 weeks?? This is the third prop bet that has been graded wrong in the past 2 weeks in addition to one regular parlay bet. Each time, I have to call them around 24 hours later to have the prop or bets looked at before they are changed. Now I havent called about this one yet, but it was Zebransky vs the OU quarterback. Zebransky won by around 30 yards I think

Thus you may want to check your prop and parlay bets a little closer in the future. Betjamaica is my favorite book, but sometimes I dont even take the time to check all of the prop bets for correct grading. Now I have started to check MUCH closer

Well I called them and they fixed the prop after I informed them that my guy won by around 30 yards. They are really starting to slip in the grading category for the past few weeks. When will I get a mistake IN MY FAVOR??

they arent trying to screw you. I think it is an honest mistake when they make one. The props can be a little confusing from time to time.

What are you trying to say the mistake was made not in your favor on purpose?

I am going to post a Betjamaica contest in a little while, I hope you don't make a mistake and forget to enter it.

I was going to ask for for a big winners share but I honestly don't feel good doing that right now. I will get over it.

Well WILHEIM, this has happened three times in the past 2 weeks. What if I didnt actually watch these games? I just want them to be a little more careful in the prop grading in the future. And I initially made this post to see if my numbers were a mistake. I notice that they havent actually credited my account yet for the winning prop. Did I read this wrong somehow and this bet is actually a loser?

I just called them again after not getting credit for the win, and they use cbsportsline for grading purposes. And all be damn!!! CBS has Zebransky gaining only 229 yards and the Oklahoma QB got 233. At every other site they have Zebransky has 262 yards.

I think that they will change the grading after I told them that I watched the game and I even checked 3 sites and they all had 262 yards. Ironically, I never even check cbssportsline

Wil

Lighten up, you are like a grumpy old man past few months.

think about it. This poster is playing at BET JAM probably due to this forum and making multiple wagers on Props (30 cent juice!) at one of your sponsors sites. This is the type of player you want to encourage and so does betjam. Hes playing fun stuff and is a bit frustrated that the results are not graded correct and he has to get involved and take time to fix it.

Cripes this is a graet guy to have at your or any Rx shop.

I've had the same thing three times at Bet Jamaica in the past month or so - both with props and very slow grading. Of course, as usual, Scotty cut to the chase and said that while business has been fantastic, they have had a few issues with new customer service reps. He thanks me for my feedback and I believe him when he says he is trying to get the best quality folks to work at Bet Jamaica.

With Scotty, Herman and Shayla, one thing for certain is that customer service will be top notch and they will attempt to help in any way possible. He gave me his personal cell phone and told me to call him anytime - and I believe he would answer and help.

I think it's just a small bump in the road for a damn good book.

That Betjam makes mistakes in understandable. That they are sticking you with a loss based on this erroneous line of 229 yds is total BS.

Ya he is a real peach.

I'm sorry Playersonly69 for asking you if you thought BetJamaica was making grading errors against you on purpose. To make up for it I will root for you to win the Skybook NFL playoff contest.

Wil, I don't think he was saying that he was getting screwed on purpose, but finding it strange at the number of misgraded props that aren't being fixed within 24 hours....I am sure it's more of a pain in the arse to get money back from those that were mistakingly graded as Winner instead of a true loser (or just eat it).

Honestly I think he was inquiring as to if this was happening to others, not to try and say they were intentionally screwing him (or to see if "a lot" of props are graded as losers on both sides and seeing how many actually catch it...that would be novel wouldn't it...)

I think BetJam is fine from what I have seen/heard, so I really don't think he was trying to "dis" them...JMHO

They did change the grading. But guys, make sure before you make strange prop bets with friends that you check the results at different sites to be sure of the results. Strange to see a site be that far off though.

By the way, I did list betjamaica as my favorite book of 2006 in another post. I am sure that they love how much money i lose on their site.

Has anyone ever asked a sportsbook for a won/loss report for the year for tax purposes??

Especially if you play in a high level FF league (had NFL.com and all other sites misgrade a catch by D. Driver listed as A. Green for 2 days...emailed the damn NFL 'with probably every other D. Driver FF owner' about the mistake)

the real question is would you bother to post up and call them if the mistake were in your favor?

I don't want to get in trouble by asking a question like that but thank you Teaseman.

Certainly I would, because eventually someone would let them know because they had the other side and they would take the money out of your account anyway. A worse thing could happen if that we all the money in your account when they made that mistake. Lets say you dont inform them and then all of a sudden go on a tear with money that wasnt yours to begin with. Then they would not have to honor the suceeding bets

I grade some unusual prop contests every week (Skybook Dude) and take it from someone who knows it is tricky at times, brain surgery of course not but you have to pay attention. Personally I gave up on Sportslines a long time ago as a principal source for almost any stat, in some sports even the scores are wrong at times.

The trickiest props for me anyway are the type mentioned here when one player is a good sized favorite to gain more yards than another either running or passing. You have to pay attention and make sure you get it right. Finding someone to do it at 2AM in the morning immediately after a west coast football game between two rather obscure teams ends might take a bit of training and patience. I am not making excuses but talking from years of experience of grading games, absolutely no one is perfect. It's like doing math there is only one correct answer.

Well I thought that I was kind the first 2 times that I called and they said that they would look into it. Then the third time that I called about 3 hours later, they say that the grading was correct according to cbssportsline. I was very kind if you ask me. I wanted to bet with that money and the line was changing on the SPurs. It was -3.5 last night when I made this post
