Parlaying Moneylines

I was curious as to how different sportsbooks might give you different payouts using the same underdog moneylines. Wow, tried the same 4 big underdogs(+260,+170,+260,+320)at 2 different books and payout for 100 parlay was 7000 at one and 14,596.64 at the other. I never realized some books actually put a limit on moneyine payout. Skybook was the one giving true payouts.

some have software that will take the bet, then a rule somewhere capping the payoff. I'd say if you want to parlay ML's try this :

Place it yourself over several days, even at several books. Just rebet the stakes and winnings each time, you can get close to no vig ML's at exchanges.

Some cap it as 4 teams pays a max of 70-1. The figure should come to an uneven amount, if the risk is a nice clean $100.

I tried the 100 parlay for different amounts and the result was exactly 7000 payout each time.

7k isn't correct.

You are getting shorted taking 7k for it, big -EV situation. It's understandable for the book to limit the hit, but check the payoff, or just do it yourself in stages, then you could take a month to do the bet, or chicken out along the way, then no hedge costs.

7000 must just be their max payout. Good to know Skybook is at least paying true odds.

I wasn't planning on betting these moneylines. Was just experimenting with what I could expect if I did want to bet this at different sportsbooks. Thanks Doug. Was actually expecting maybe a better payout at the book with the 7000 limit.
