Fishhead,This is before the internet boom that he told me this and now I would agree what you say but that was a long time ago.This guy would drive a new car every 2 years so I knew he wasnt hurting.Also I was a runner for him had 6 guys call actiion into me and bet alot of parlays so i know first hand these guys lost money and hell i made 15% of what they lost a month so I was happy.Gravy

Certainly not disagreeing with you, they are certainly a bookies life blood and more!
However, TEASERS and PARLAYS can be "manipulated" in such a matter by extreme sharps to provide solid income.............and is in fact probably the direct way I have personally made more money in sportsbetting than by any other means.........in fact, it is for certain.
Fishhead,I will leave you with this when the internet started it was start of the information age which im not telling you anything new but you can find out more infornation about games than you ever could.I would agree with you about teasers and parlays that he sharps have an advantage today but back in the mid to late 80's the bookie had an edge because they only thing you had was the Sunday newspaper and the news on TV and that was it and not much else.I could go on and on about this but thats enough to share for now.Best of luck on your picks this weekend.Gravy
