Thought he got the first down??
I thought that it should have been ruled down but I thought He was 1/2 yard short again. It didn't make any difference if field goal failed ? Funny play IMHO

I'm as big a Cowboy fan on this forum and I think he was clearly short, if he would have extended to get the first down maybe, but he didn't...:Sad Face:

They didn't review Romo's spot nor did they measure it.
How do you not do either????

Wasnt the ball coming out already?

He fumbled the ball, the ground can't cause a fumble unless your not touched.

Because when Seattle got the ball, they started at the one. If that's the case, it's a first down.

It didn't look to me like it was coming out early but why didn't they review it is a big mystery ?

So if Romo would of been downed an inch away from the Goal line the Cowboys still wouldn't of been awared a first down?

You are right, I thought this is why they have the under 2 mins rule to protect against BS like that in case the team is out of time outs.

I thought the ball had came out before his knee hit.

Also, if he is not touched, it is as if his knee never hit.

it is 100% incorrect to not have at least reviewed that spot. Let alone the measurement. Absolutely unacceptable.

the reason it wasn't reveiwed is it wasn't very close. he was down about the 2. the yard to gain was the 1. once you saw the side angle (the angle the refs had) you realize it wasn't really in question

He was definitely touched, the guy coming off the corner tackled him, they should have reviewed the play, but I'm almost positive nothing would have changed.

They started at the 2. Case closed!

funky disagree. The side replay showed it down maybe 1 1/4 line.
Then Sea snapped the ball at the 1...explain that.

not saying the call would have been reversed. You still have to review it.
