very surprising, but i think Brohm declares now, and that program may suffer some.

word is it's Bobby Petrino, and there finishing negotiations.

This is a very bad move!!!!!

You guys are gonna call me crazy for posting this idea but if i were Arthur Blank i would have hired Norm Chow from the titans.

Seriously guys, can you consider the monster job this guy did with Vince Young, a player who is in the exact same mould as Micheal Vick? Playing in a division even much tougher than the NFC?

I wonder what these NFL owners eat for breakfast every day. Some moves seem so easy but these guys complicate issues so much it beocmes ridiculous..

Thus far all recent college coaches have back fired seriously, from spurrier, to Butch Davis, to Nick Saban. What in the friggin world is Arthur Blank doing hiring some green horn from louisville.

Doing this pretty much gurantees one thing, that your team will spend the entire half season next year trying to find an identity. But being that its the NFC, i guess you have time to fvck around for an entire half season then back your way into the play offs.

I say again if Norm Chow is hired by the Falcons, they are in the the play offs next year for sure. Folks i say again, look at what he did with Vince young, a rookie QB who doesnt even have half the weapons Vick has in Atlanta.:ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

I agree Chow is the best HC job for teams that need to develop a QB. I hope the Dolphins grab him cause we need a QB developed this yr. Chow has ran some of the best offenses BYU, USC. Has made a lot of succesful QB's Jim, McMhan, Ty Detmer, Carson Palmer, Matt Linehart, and Vince Young

petrino has been around the nfl game and has coached in the league a bit. actually, i think this is a great move for atlanta. louisville and usc are two college teams that run nfl-style offenses. the guy didnt win with gimmicks or spread options. he won at louisville by using nfl-style sets and packages.

There's a reason Norm Chow has coached many great players and never been named a head coach. He is a tactician, NOT a leader of men.

what is so special about this guy that nfl teams try to woo him every year? he has had good seasons at louisvlle, but his teams are usually all offense and no defense and we all know defense wins championships.

Its not about giving chow a chance. I am actually a titans fan and i would prefer if he didnt go any where. (Last i heard Arizona is gunning for him harder than a dis-illusioned nun after a hard cock)..

But to me it just makes such perfect sense to go with a guy who is pretty much tailor made to fit right into your offense without missing a beat.

This especially coming from an owner who watched his team ruined by a hard headed young coach who insisted on putting one of the lousier passing qb's in the league in a west coast offense...(how stupid is that)..

It would only make sense to get the one guy who has the simple football sense (that is unfortunately not common at all in the league) to build a "micheal vick" offensive play book designed for Vick instead of designing some bullshit offense and forcing vick into it.

As a long time Card fan, I've grown to expect this every season since he's been there. He's done a hell of job, but he finally maximized his value, and good-bye. This is double bittersweet for me because I'm also a Buc fan. Guess I can hate him a lot easier now, lol.

He's not exactly a green horn. He was with the Jags a couple of years, and OC for a one, working with Brunell, Smith and crew before returning to college. I think he did a hell of a job overall. He had no answer for Rutgers in the second half, and struggled against Wake, so he's not the end all. He's got a great offensive mind, so it wil be intersting to see what he can do with Vick. His personality is vastly different than Mora's. He's very very intense, and will rip your ass in a second. Wonder how that will play.

The AD at UL has been prepared for this, and will replace him soon. Word is Kragthorp(sp). Opinions? I agree that Brohm will probably be gone, Bush as well, and maybe WR Douglas. He helped put my school on the map, but let's see if they can sustain that success.

This may sound childish, but allow me to vent for a moment.

Good Riddance you F$#%^& A-Hole!
Monte Kiffin will school your ass next season! Twice!
